Almora Cooperative Bank Recruitment 2022 – Almora Urban Co-Operative Bank Limited has published the notification for the recruitment of various posts of Specialist Officer (SO), Clerks/ Cashier, and Clerks/ Typist, etc for 50 branches of the bank across the Uttarakhand State on its official website.

Specialist Officer (IT)
- Qualification: B.Tech/ MCA/ DOEACC ‘B’ Level
- Experience (as of 01st Apr 2022): Preferable Experience: Candidates having 1-2 years of experience in banking/ financial/ institutions/ NBFCs will be given preference.
Specialist Officer (Law)
- Qualification: LLB + 5 Yrs Exp
- Experience (as on 01st Apr 2022): (I) Candidate having minimum 5 years of experience in banking/ financial/ institutions/ NBFCs. Or (II) Candidate having a minimum of 5 years as an advocate experienced in handling banking-related matters. Or Candidate having a minimum of 5 years of combined experience in any (I) & (II)
Clerk (Cashier)
- Qualification: Graduate + 1 Yr Computer Diploma
- Experience (as of 01st Apr 2022): Preferable Experience: Candidates having 1-2 years of experience in banking/ financial/ institutions/ NBFCs will be given preference.
Clerk (Typist)
- Qualification: Graduate + 1 Yr Computer Diploma + Typing
- Experience (as of 01st Apr 2022): Preferable Experience: Candidates having 1-2 years of experience in banking/ financial/ institutions/ NBFCs will be given preference. The candidate Must be proficient in Hindi and English Typing.
Age Limit (as of 01-April-2022)
- Specialists Officer – An individual’s age must not be below 25 years and above 40 years to apply for all the posts of SO
- Clerk – An individual’s age must not be below 21 years and above 40 years to apply for all the posts of Clerk.

How to Apply?
- Candidates to go to the recruitment section of the bank’s website at almoraurbanbank.com and click on the option “APPLY ONLINE” which will open a new screen.
- To register your application, choose the tab “Click here for New Registration” and enter your Name, Contact details, and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. The candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.
- In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he/she can save the data already entered by choosing the “SAVE AND NEXT” tab prior to submission of the online application candidates are advised to use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required.
- Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the COMPLETE REGISTRATION BUTTON
- The Name of the candidate or his /her Father/ Husband etc. should be spelled correctly in the application as it appears in the Certificates/ Mark sheets/Identity proof. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature.
- Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the ‘Validate your details and ‘Save & Next’ buttons.
- Candidates can proceed to upload photos & signatures as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning.
- Candidates can proceed to fill in other details of the Application Form.
- Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before COMPLETE REGISTRATION.
- Modify details, if required, and click on ‘COMPLETE REGISTRATION ONLY after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded and other details filled by you are correct.
- Click on the ‘Payment’ Tab and proceed with payment.
- Click on the ‘Submit’ button
Procedure for uploading the documents
- While filling in the Online Application Form the candidate will be provided with separate links for uploading a left thumb impression and handwritten declaration
- Click on the respective link “Upload left thumb impression/handwritten declaration”
- Browse and Select the location where the Scanned left thumb impression/handwritten declaration file has been saved.
- Select the file by clicking on it
- Click the ‘Open/Upload’ button Your Online Application will not be registered unless you upload your Left thumb impression and handwritten declaration as specified.
- If the file size and format are not as prescribed, an error message will be displayed.
- A preview of the uploaded image will help to see the quality of the image. In case of unclear/smudged, the same may be re-uploaded to the expected clarity /quality.
Application Fees
- All Candidates: Rs.1500/-
Payment of Fees – Online Mode
- The application form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions.
- The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
- After submitting your payment information in the online application form, PLEASE WAIT FOR THE INTIMATION FROM THE SERVER. DO NOT PRESS THE BACK OR REFRESH BUTTON IN ORDER TO AVOID A DOUBLE CHARGE
- On successful completion of the transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated
- Non-generation of ‘E-Receipt’ indicates PAYMENT FAILURE. On failure of payment, Candidates are advised to log in again using their Provisional Registration Number and Password and repeat the process of payment.
- Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-Receipt and online Application Form containing fee details. Please note that if the same cannot be generated, the online transactions may not have been successful.
- For Credit Card users: All charges are listed in Indian Rupee. If you use a non-Indian credit card, your bank will convert to your local currency based on prevailing exchange rates.
- To ensure the security of your data, please close the browser window once your transaction is completed.
- There is a facility to print the application form containing fee details after payment of fees.

- The first stage of the selection process for all the posts is a written test. The candidates who qualify for the written test will be shortlisted for the Interview.
