SSC postpones SSC CHSL 2019 and SSC JE 2019 exam due to COVID-19
SSC CHSL and JE 2019 Exam Postponed – The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has postponed both SSC CHSL 2019 and SSC JE 2019 exams as a precautionary measure, in view of the emergent situation due to COVID-19, as per the notice release on the official website, the fresh dates of both exams will be announced in due course of time.
The statement reads – “As a precautionary measure, in view of the emergent situation due to COVID-19, it has been decided by the Commission, in the larger public interest, to postpone the ongoing Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination (Tier-I), 2019 with effect from 20th March 2020.
“Similarly, the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contract) Examination (Paper-I) 2019, scheduled to commence from 30th March 2020 has also been postponed. Fresh schedules for these examinations will be announced in due course. Applicants are advised to visit the website of the Commission regularly for updates”.

SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam was scheduled to be held from 17th March to 28th March 2020. The Commission has conducted the exam scheduled for 17th and 19th March 2020 and all exams scheduled between 20th to 28th March 2020 have been postponed. SSC CHSL is one of the biggest recruitment exams held in the country. The recruitment sees massive participation of applicants who have registered to appear for SSC CHSL 2019 Exam.
SSC JE 2019 exam was scheduled to be held from 30th March to 02nd April.
