Eligibility Criteria for CISF ASI Recruitment 2022
- To apply for CISF Recruitment vacancy, the applicants should have some required qualification and age limit. Actually, CISF used to recruit young candidates for initial level operations. Let discuss the further details below:
| Service Eligibility: | Applicant should have completed five year of regular service including basic training in the grade or five years combined regular service as Constable/GD, Head Constable/GD and Constable/TM as on 01st January 2022. |

| Age Limit: | 35 years as on 01st January 2022 i.e., he/she must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1986. Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST applicants. No age relaxation is applicable for OBC applicants as no vacancy is reserved for OBC category. OBC applicants can apply as general applicants. |
| Clean Record: | The applicants must have good or above good ACRs for last 05 years and should have unblemished service record till the issue of offer of appointment. |

Medical Standard
Visual Standards
The applicants will be tested for visual standards as per the following parameters:
- Visual Acuity Unaided (Near vision): Better Eye- N6, Worse Eye- N9
- Uncorrected Visual Acuity (Distant Vision): Better Eye 6/6, Worse Eye- 6/9
- Refraction: Visual Correction of any kind will not be permitted even by glasses.

Selection Process

Final Selection: Name of applicants will be placed in the merit list subject to the provision that applicant belonging to General category have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks i.e., 100 marks out of a total of 200 marks and applicant belonging to SC/ST category have secured minimum 45% aggregate marks i.e., 90 marks. Final selection of applicants will be made according to availability of vacancies and subject to their being declared ‘FIT’ in the Detailed Medical Examination or Review medical examination as the case may be.
Physical Efficiency Test
For Male candidates
- High Jump 3.9 feet in 3 chances
- 6 kms race in 6 minutes 30 seconds
- Shot Put (16 Lbs) 14.8 feet in 3 chances
- Long Jump 12 feet in 3 chances
- 100 Meters 1 race in 16 seconds
For female candidates
- 800 Meters race in 4 minutes
- 100 Meters race in 18 Seconds
- High Jump 3 feet in 3 chances
- Long Jump 9 feet in 3 chances
CISF ASI Pay Scale (Salary)

CISF ASI Recruitment 2022: Written Exam
Written Examination for CISF ASI comprises of OMR based question paper. There shall be one objective question paper with multiple choices consisting of 200 marks. The duration will be 3.5 hours. The candidates will be assessed in the following subjects:
- General Intelligence and reasoning: 50 marks
- General awareness & professional knowledge: 50 marks
- Numerical ability: 50 marks
- Comprehension and communication skill: 50 marks
