Cochin University CUSAT CAT 2022 Notification
CUSAT CAT 2022 – Cochin Science and Technology University (CUSAT) will conduct Combined Entrance Examination (CAT) for admission into various U.G and P.G Courses on 15th, 16th and 17th of May 2022. CUSAT CAT 2022
- Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is conducting the entrance exam for admission to various academic programs of the University for the academic year 2022.
- All admissions are on the basis of online Common Admission Test (CAT) or online Lateral Entry Test (LET) or Departmental Admission Test (DAT) conducted by the University.
- Admission to MBA Program is based on C-MAT (AICTE) / MAT (AIMA) / CAT (IIM) score, GD & Interview and for M.Tech GATE score. CUSAT CAT 2022 admission details, eligibility conditions and other particulars are available on the websites www.cusat.nic.in or www.cusat.ac.in.

Eligibility Criteria for CUSAT CAT 2022
Minimum Basic Requirements for applying to each Program
- Applicants belonging to Kerala Scheduled Caste (KSC) and Kerala Scheduled Tribe (KST) communities are eligible for applying, if they have minimum pass marks in the qualifying exam except for Marine Engg
- For all Undergraduate Programs (except Marine Engg) the minimum eligibility for SEBC applicants of Kerala State with Non-Creamy Layer Status to be considered under reservation quota for admission to B.Tech is 45% for Mathematics and 45% for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together in the qualifying exam.
- In the case of Post Graduate programs, SEBC applicants of Kerala State with Non-Creamy Layer Status are eligible for 5% relaxation in the minimum required marks for qualifying exam unless otherwise specified
- Applicants with valid GATE score are eligible for 5% relaxation in the qualifying exam marks for M Tech Programs

Eligibility
- For Course of A, B & C: Pass in plus-two examination of the state of Kerala or any other exam accepted as equivalent thereto with mathematics, physics and chemistry as optional subjects securing a minimum of 50% marks in mathematics and 50% marks in mathematics, physics and chemistry put together
- For Course D: Pass in plus-two exam of the state of Kerala or any other exam accepted as equivalent thereto with mathematics, physics and chemistry as optional subjects securing a minimum of 60% marks in mathematics, physics and chemistry put together, with at least 55% in mathematics separately
- For Course E: i) Pass in plus-two exam of the state of Kerala or any other exam accepted as equivalent thereto with physics, chemistry, mathematics and English as separate subjects with a PCM average of not less than 60% marks & minimum 50% for mathematics alone; applicants should have obtained 50% marks in English at 10th or 12th standards
- For Course F: Pass in plus-two exam of the state of Kerala or any other exam accepted as equivalent thereto with a First Class (60%) securing a minimum of 50% marks in mathematics as well as for mathematics, physics and chemistry put together
- For Course G: i) Pass in Plus 2 exam with 60% marks in Science/Commerce group or 55% marks in Arts/Humanities; ii) Applicants should not have completed 20 years of age on July 1st of the year of admission; 22 years in the case of SC/ST and OBC applicants
- For Course H: i) Pass in Plus 2 exam with 60% marks in Science group or 55% marks in Commerce/Arts/Humanities; ii) Applicants should not have completed 20 years of age on July 1st of the year of admission. 22 years in the case of SC/ST & OBC applicants
- (Students who have taken their 10+2 or degree through distance or correspondence method are eligible to apply for BBA LLB and B.Com LLB (Hons), whereas those who passed the course through Open University Scheme without any basic qualifications are ineligible for admission to this course)
- Note: i) SC/ST applicants are eligible for admission, if they have pass marks in qualifying exam except for B.Tech in Marine Engg; ii) SEBC Applicants are eligible for a 5% relaxation in marks (Under Graduate Programs) except for B.Tech in Marine Engg
Post Graduate Programs
- 3 year LLB: Pass in Bachelors degree with not less than 40% marks in the aggregate in any discipline of a University recognized by CUSAT (35% for SC/ST applicants)
- Applicants who have appeared for the qualifying exam may also apply, in anticipation of results; however, the mark lists obtained in the qualifying exam should be produced at the time of admission; those who fail to produce mark lists will not be considered for admission
- LLM (2 years): Bachelor’s degree in Law with at least 45% marks
- LLM (1 year) (with Intellectual Property Rights specialisation)
- Applicant shall have bachelor’s degree in law (law degree not mandatory for foreign students) with 55% marks from any of the Universities of Kerala or an exam in any other University accepted by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto, and to have obtained rank in the CAT conducted by the University
- LLM (IPR), PHD (5 year Integrated Program): Bachelor’s Degree in Law with 55% from any of the Universities in Kerala or an exam of any other University accepted by the University as equivalent thereto and should have obtained rank in CAT conducted by the University. SC/ST applicants are eligible for concession admissible under the orders of the Govt
- M.A. Hindi Language & Literature: B.A/B.Sc degree with Hindi as a subject of study with at least 45% marks in Hindi
- MBA (Full-time): Bachelor’s degree in any subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate
- MBA (Part-time): Bachelors degree in any subject with 50% marks in aggregate;
- 50% of the seats are reserved for applicants having 3 years of supervisory/executive experience after taking the degree;
- MBA (Travel & Tourism): Bachelor’s degree in any subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate
- MBA (International Business): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline recognized by the University with 50% marks in aggregate
- MA Applied Economics: Bachelor’s degree in Economics with 55% marks in Part III (Economics and Subsidiaries) or 60% marks with B.Com., BBA, BBM with Economics as one of the subject or B.Sc Mathematics or Statistics with 65% marks
- MCA (Regular and Cost Sharing): Any graduate with mathematics as one of the main or subsidiary subjects or graduate in Electronics / Computer Science/ Computer Applications/Engg/ Technology with aggregate 55% marks in all subjects other than Languages and Humanities
- MSc Chemistry: B.Sc degree with Chemistry/ Polymer Chemistry/ Environmental Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry / Petrochemicals (main), with Mathematics as one of the subsidiary subjects with at least 55% marks in the main subject
- MSc Biotechnology: Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Life Sciences including Agricultural and Medical Science or Chemical Science or Chemical Engg with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate
- MSc in Biopolymer Science: B.Sc degree with Chemistry as one of the main or subsidiary subjects; the applicant should have passed the qualifying exam with a minimum of 50% marks in the main and subsidiary subjects taken together; the course is conducted by CIPET (Centre for Bio-Polymer Science & Technology, Eloor, Kochi) in collaboration with CUSAT
- M.Sc Electronic Science (with specialization in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Microwave, Electronics and Computer Technology)
- First class B.Sc degree with not less than 60% aggregate marks in Electronics or Physics
M.Sc Environmental Technology
- Stream I – Environmental Engg.: Graduate in Chemistry with Physics and Mathematics as subsidiaries or Graduate in Engg. (Civil/Public Health/ Environmental/Chemical) with 55% marks (50% in the case of SC/ST applicants) in optional subjects in the qualifying exam and a valid score in the CAT, conducted by the University
- Stream II – Environmental Bio-Technology: Graduate in Life Sciences/ Environmental Science/ Zoology/ Botany/ Microbiology with 55% marks (50% in the case of SC/ST applicants) in optional subjects in the qualifying exam and a valid score in the CAT exam conducted by the University
- MSc Hydrochemistry: B.Sc degree in Chemistry with Physics and Mathematics as subsidiaries or B.Sc. degree of any University in Kerala with Polymer Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry/ Petrochemicals/ Environment & Water Management as the main subject and Mathematics and Physics/ Computer Science, as subsidiaries with a minimum of 55% marks in the respective main subject
- MSc Industrial Fisheries: Bachelor’s degree in Zoology/Botany/ Fisheries with at least 55% marks in the optional subjects. Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries includes Industrial Fisheries/ Aquaculture/ Fishery Science/ Industrial Fish and Fisheries/BFSc in Nautical science
- MSc Instrumentation: B.Sc degree in Instrumentation/Physics/ Electronics with 60% marks from any recognized University
- MSc Marine Biology: B.Sc degree with any branch of Life Sciences such as Aquaculture, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Botany, Microbiology and Zoology as a main subject or B.Sc. degree in Fishery Science with at least 55% marks in the optional subjects
- MSc Marine Geology: B.Sc degree in Geology /Physics/Chemistry with at least 60% aggregate marks
- MSc Marine Geophysics: B.Sc degree in Geology or Physics with Mathematics as one of the subjects and at least 60% aggregate marks
- MSc Mathematics: B.Sc degree with Mathematics main, with at least 55% marks for optional subjects taken together
- MSc Meteorology: B.Sc degree with Physics/Mathematics as the main subject with 55% marks. Those with Mathematics as the main subject should have studied Physics as one of the subsidiaries and vice-versa
- MSc Oceanography: B.Sc degree with Physics/Mathematics as the main subject with 55% marks. Those with Mathematics as the main subject should have studied Physics as one of the subsidiaries and vice-versa
- MSc Physics: B.Sc degree with Physics main and Mathematics as subsidiary with at least 55% marks in Physics
- M.F.Sc Seafood Safety and Trade: Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries/Food Technology/ Food Science/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Zoology with at least 55% marks in optional subjects
- Applicants should have bachelor’s degree in Fisheries includes Industrial Fisheries/ Aquaculture/ Fishery Science/ Industrial Fish & Fisheries/ B.F.Sc (Nautical Science) Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology/ Food Science includes B.Tech/BE/ B.Sc in Food Science and Technology/Food Science and Management/Food Science/ Food Technology/ Food processing Technology/ Food Science and Quality Control
- MSc Statistics: B.Sc degree in Mathematics or Statistics main with at least 55% marks for optional subjects taken together
- Note: SC/ST applicants are eligible for admission, if they have pass marks in qualifying exam unless otherwise specified
Dual Degree Programs
- Master of Intellectual Property (MIP), Ph.D: Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Economics, Political Science, History, Management and Science & Technology with 55% from any of the Universities in Kerala or an examination of any other University accepted by the University as equivalent thereto and should have obtained rank in CAT conducted by the University
- LLM (IPR) Ph.D Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Law with 55% from any of the Universities in Kerala or an exam of any other or; University accepted by the University as equivalent thereto and should have obtained rank in CAT conducted by the University
- Note: SC/ST applicants are eligible for admission, if they have pass marks in qualifying exam
ADMISSION TO M.TECH PROGRAMS
- Admissions to the following M.Tech Programs are based on valid GATE score as prescribed under the academic regulations specific to each program
- Applicants not possessing GATE may also apply, but will be considered only if GATE qualified applicants are not available. In such cases, admissions will be based on the DAT conducted by the respective Departments
- M.Tech Atmospheric Science: M.Sc degree or its equivalent in Meteorology, Oceanography, Mathematics, Physics, and Space Physics with a First Class (60%) marks from any recognized University or Institution;
- A valid GATE score or a pass in the Joint UGC CSIR Test (NET) for JRF
- M.Tech Computer Aided Structural Analysis & Design: B.Tech or Equivalent degree in Naval Architecture and Ship building/Civil Engg/Mechanical Engg with a first class (60%) marks from any recognized University or Institution;
- A valid GATE score
- M.Tech Computer & Information Science: B.Tech or equivalent degree or AMIETE/AMIE in Computer Science/Information Technology or Electronics and Communication or MCA; with a first class (60% marks) applicable to all the above from any recognized University or Institution;
- A valid GATE score in the subject Computer Science and Information Technology
- M.Tech Software Engg: B.Tech or equivalent degree or AMIETE/AMIE in Computer Science/Information Technology or Electronics and Communication or MCA; with a first class (60% marks) applicable to all the above from any recognized University or Institution;
- A valid GATE score in the subject Computer Science and Information Technology
- M.Tech Computer Science with Specialization in Embedded Systems (Part-Time): First Class B.Tech degree in Computer Science & Engineering / Electronics Engg/Information Technology/ Electrical Engg or equivalent branches or MCA with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA; Minimum of 1 year experience in Industry/University/Institution recognized by appropriate statutory bodies
- N.Tech Electronics (With specialization in Digital Electronics, Microwave & Radar Electronics): B.Tech or equivalent degree/ AMIETE/ AMIE in Electronics and Communication Engg/Electrical Engg/ Electronics and Instrumentation or M.Sc degree in Electronics/Physics (with Electronics as specialization) with a first class (60%) marks from any recognized University or Institution
- A valid GATE score in Electronics/Electronics and Communication Engineering. 3. If sufficient numbers of applicants are not available in Category 2 above, applicants with GATE score in Instrumentation, Electrical & Electronics Engg., Electrical Engg., or Physics will be considered. In the absence of GATE qualified applicants Non-GATE applicants can be admitted on the basis of DAT
- M.Tech Industrial Catalysis: M.Sc degree in Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry or any other degree recognized as equivalent with at least a first class (60%) marks from any recognized University or Institution with valid GATE Score
- M Tech Marine Engineering: Shall have passed B.Tech /BE/BS Degree in Marine Engineering or B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg) Degree in Mechanical Engineering or B Tech Degree in Naval Architecture & Ship Building with a minimum of 60% Marks or an Exam of any other University/Institution accepted by this University as Equivalent thereto with 60% marks
- For admission to M.Tech Marine Engineering GATE score is not considered
- M.Tech Marine Biotechnology: B.Tech/ BE in Chemical Engg, Biochemical Engg, Industrial Biotechnology, Leather Biotechnology, Chemistry/Biotechnology, Biomedical Engg, B.Pharm, Chemical Technology or M.Sc in Biotechnology, Marine Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Botany/ Zoology/Biochemistry, Microbiology/ Genetics, Biophysics, Microbial Genetics and Bioinformatics, Marine Biology/ Aquatic Biology and Fisheries/Environmental Biotechnology/Mariculture with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from any recognized Indian or Foreign University
- For admission to M.Tech Marine Biotechnology GATE score is not considered. Selection of applicants is done by JNU on behalf of Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India
- M.Tech Ocean Technology: M.Sc Degree in Oceanography/Physics/Marine Geology/Meteorology/Marine Geophysics/ Environmental Sciences or M.Sc (Tech) degree in Marine Geophysics or B.Tech or equivalent degree /AMIE in Civil Engg/Environmental Sciences with 60% marks from any recognized University or Institution;
- A valid GATE score in any of the subjects mentioned above as the second paper
- M.Tech Opto-Electronics & Laser Technology: Masters Degree in Physics/ Electronics/ Photonics/B.Tech or B.E Degree in Electronics and Communication Engg/ Electronics Engg/Electrical and Electronics Engg with a First Class (60%) from any recognized University or Institution
- A valid GATE score in the concerned branch of study (3) if sufficient numbers of applicants with GATE score in the concerned branch of study are not available, applicants with GATE score in Instrumentation will be considered; if sufficient numbers of GATE score holders are not available, a pass in DAT is sufficient
- M.Tech Polymer Technology: B.Tech or equivalent Degree/AMIE in Polymer Science and Rubber Technology/ Chemical Engg/ Technology or M.Sc Polymer Chemistry/M.Sc Chemistry with Polymer Chemistry as specialisation with a first class (60%) marks from any recognized University or Institution with a valid GATE score
- M.Tech. Civil Engineering with specialization in Geotechnical Engg**: Should have passed B.Tech/B.E/ B.Sc Engineering Degree Exam in Civil Engineering branch with a minimum 60% marks from any University in Kerala or an exam of any other University/Institution accepted by this University as equivalent thereto
- In the absence of sufficient number of applicants with GATE Score, applicants without GATE Score shall also be considered subject to passing an admission test conducted by the University (DAT)
- M.Tech Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Thermal Engineering: Should have passed B.Tech/B.E/B.Sc Engg Degree Exam in Mechanical branch with a minimum of 60% marks from any University in Kerala or an examination of any other University/institution accepted by this University as equivalent thereto
- Applicants who have passed sections A and B examinations conducted by the Institution of Engineers (India) – AMIE in Mechanical branch shall be eligible
- A valid GATE score in Mechanical Engineering
- M.Tech Electronics & Communication Engg with specialization in Wireless Technology: Should have passed B.Tech/ B.E/B.Sc Engg Degrees in Electronics or Electrical and Electronics or Electronics & Communication branch with a minimum of 60% marks from any University of Kerala or an Exam of any other University/Institution accepted by this University as equivalent thereto
- A valid GATE Score. In the absence of GATE qualified applicants non GATE applicants can be admitted on the basis of a Departmental Admission Test (DAT)
- M.Tech Information Technology with specialization in Software Systems: Should have passed B.Tech/BE/ B.Sc Engg Degrees in Information Technology/ Computer Science & Engg/Computer Engg/ Biomedical Engg/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics/ Electrical & Electronics branch with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 in 10 point scale from any University of Kerala or an Exam of any other University/Institution accepted by this University as equivalent thereto
- A valid GATE Score. In the absence of GATE qualified applicants non GATE applicants can be admitted on the basis of a Departmental Admission Test (DAT)
- M.Tech Health, Safety & Environment Management: Shall have passed B.Tech/BE/B.Sc Engineering Degree Exam in Chemical /Civil /Mechanical /Safety & Fire Engineering branches with a minimum of 60% marks from any University in Kerala or an Exam of any other University/ Institution accepted by the University as equalent thereto
- Applicants who have passed sessions A & B Exams conducted by the Institution of Engineers (India) – AMIE in Chemical/Civil/ Mechanical branches or Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers – AMIIChE shall also the eligible
- A valid GATE score. In the absence of sufficient number of applicants with GATE score, applicant without GATE score
- Open seats will be allotted on the basis of the score in Departmental Admission Test, marks obtained in the qualifying exam and experience
ADMISSIONS THROUGH DAT
Post Graduate Program
- M.A. Translation (German/Russian): Bachelor’s degree of any University recognized by CUSAT and Diploma level knowledge in the language concerned
Diploma /Certificate Programs (Part-Time)
- Certificate courses in French/German/Japanese/Russian: Pass in pre degree / +2 or equivalent thereto of any University recognized by CUSAT. Previous knowledge of the language is not essential
- Integrated Diploma in French/ German/Italian/Japanese/ Russian: Pass in +2 or equivalent. Previous knowledge in the language concerned is not essential
- Diploma in French/German/Japanese/Russian: Pass in Pre-Degree/plus- two or equivalent thereto of any University recognized by CUSAT. Previous knowledge of the language is not essential.
- PG Diploma in Communicative English: Bachelor’s Degree holders of any University acceptable by CUSAT
- PG Diploma in Translation and Functional Hindi: Bachelor’s degree with Hindi as one of the subjects
- PG Diploma in Intellectual Property Laws: Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Economics, Political Science, History, Management and Science & Technology/Engineering
M.Phil Program (Full-Time)
- M.Phil Chemistry, Commerce, Hindi, Physics and Mathematics: Master’s degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks.
- M.Phil. Applied Economics: Pass in Masters Degree exam in the subject concerned from any of the Universities approved by the UGC or an exam accepted by the Academic Council as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (or equivalent grade) in the exam
- M.Phil Marine Chemistry: Master’s Degree in Hydrochemistry, Chemistry or any other branch of Chemistry with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade
- M.Phil Fisheries Science: M.Sc Degree in Industrial Fisheries/ Marine Biology/ Zoology/Aquatic Biology and Fisheries/ Fishery Biology and Aquaculture/ Capture and Culture Fisheries/ Aquaculture/M.F.Sc/ M.Sc Applied Fisheries Processing or any other Post Graduate Degree in Fisheries and Allied subjects/ Life Sciences/ Biotechnology with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade
- M.Phil Life Sciences: Master’s degree in any branch of Life Sciences with 60% marks
PhD Program
- PhD Programs are offered in all the teaching Departments/Schools and recognized Institutions of the University
- Applicants are advised to ascertain the areas of research and the availability of vacancies from the Departments /Schools or Recognized Institutions beforehand. Applicants intending to do research in the Recognized Institutions of the University are to obtain application forms from the University Departments/ Schools dealing with the discipline of their choice
- University Depts/Schools where PhD/M.Phil Programs are offered – The University Departments/ Schools located at the Thrikkakara Campus, Kochi-682022 are Applied Chemistry, Applied Economics, Biotechnology, Computer Applications, Computer Science, English and Foreign Languages, Electronics, Environmental Studies, Hindi, Instrumentation, Legal Studies, Centre for Intellectual Property Rights and Studies, Mathematics, Management Studies, Photonics, Physics, Polymer Science & Rubber Technology, School of Engineering, Ship Technology and Statistics
Post Doctoral Fellowship
- PDF shall be tenable at any Department/ School of the University, open throughout the year
- The minimum qualification required for the award of a PDF shall be a recognized Doctoral Degree with at least two research publications in referred journals
- PDF are awarded @ Rs 25,000/- per month towards fellowship amount along with an annual Contingency Grant of Rs.20,000/-
- The maximum age for applying for Post-Doctoral Fellowship is limited to 45 years; research experience after the award of PhD only will be considered for PDF
- To apply for PDF, the applicant shall identify a Mentor who shall be a permanent Faculty of the University, holding a Doctoral Degree and shall be a recognized Research Guide of the University and prepare a Research Project Proposal in consultation with the Mentor in the specific format provided by the University and submit the same to the Head/Director of the Department/School after authentication by the Mentor
- PDF shall be awarded for a maximum period of three years based on yearly performance appraisal
Lateral Entry to B.Tech Third Semester through LET
- B.Tech in Civil Engg, Computer Science & Engg, Electrical & Electronics Engg, Electronics & Communication Engg., Information Technology, Instrumentation Technology, Mechanical Engg., Polymer Science & Engineering and Safety & Fire Engg
- Any three year Diploma in Engineering/Technology awarded by the Board of Technical Education recognized by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Kerala with not less than 60% marks

Exam Test Centres
For First Degree Programs (i.e. B.Tech & 5 year Integrated M.Sc in Photonics)
- The CAT will be conducted on All India basis with test centres in Dubai*, New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jamshedpur, Allahabad, Lucknow, Ranchi, Varanasi, Kota and all the District Head Quarters of Kerala; viz. CUSAT CAT 2022 Application Form
- Applicants should apply on-line and make the fee payment on or before the last dates prescribed. Online applications shall be submitted only through the website cusat.nic.in
Steps for Online Application
- Creating a login ID – Login to the website cusat.nic.in Click on the link “New Applicant Registration” and enter correctly the applicants name, date of birth & age exactly as given in the qualifying certificate
- Use a valid Email ID and an active mobile phone number of the applicant or parent. Choose a User Name of your choice with at least 6 characters using alphabets and/or numbers only. Do write down the approved user name. Choose the correct options out of the 3 options given in the login creation page
- The second option “Lateral Entry” is only for engineering diploma holders who are applying to the third semester of B.Tech
- All Applicants applying for Common Admission Test 2022 should submit their applications On-line International applicants and those applying for the Lateral Entry Program/MBA/M.Tech should also submit their applications online
- Applicants for PhD/PDF/M Phil/ MA Translation-German & Russian/Diploma/Certificate programmes need not submit online application form; they can obtain the printed application from the concerned Departments on request by paying the required application fee through Demand Draft, drawn in favour of “Registrar, CUSAT” payable at Ernakulam, either by post or directly
- For MBA Program the selection is based on C-MAT (AICTE) or K-MAT (Kerala) or CAT (IIM) is compulsory; Group Discussion and interview of CUSAT
- Printed application from can be obtain from the concerned Departments either directly or through post by paying the required application fee through Demand Draft, drawn in favour of “Registrar, CUSAT” payable at Ernakulam

- Applicants who apply under NRI Quota (For B.Tech Programs only) – Rs.5000/-
- Applicants opting test centres at Dubai should pay Rs 10,000/- in addition to the above

Note:
- Applicants having both 10+2 and three year Diploma qualifications and intending to apply for both regular B.Tech Programs and Lateral Entry to B.Tech Programs are required to submit separate applications by remitting the fees specified i.e. Rs 1100/- plus Rs 1100/- for General applicants and Rs.500/- Plus Rs.500/- for SC/ST applicants
- Similarly applicants who wish to apply for MCA Lateral Entry along with other programmes should remit an additional amount of Rs 1000/-(Rs 500/- for SC/ST). Applicants should retain minimum 3 copies of the Confirmation Page and the counterfoil of the fee challan/e-payment receipt for their reference
- Tech Marine Bio-Technology: Selection of applicants is done by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) on behalf of Dept. of Biotechnology, Govt. of India through a National Test along with all such examinations conducted by the University (JNU); GATE Score is not considered for admission
- Application fees once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstance
Payment Modes
- Mode of Payment of application fee for online submission: By cash payment at SBI or SBT bank using the chalan that can be downloaded at the end of online registration/submission of application or through internet banking; applicants who have opted for test centre at Dubai should remit an additional amount of Rs 10,000/-
- Mode of Payment for DAT application: By Demand Draft for required amount drawn in favour of “Registrar, CUSAT” payable at Cochin, issued by SBT or SBI ONLY
- Applicants should write his/her name and Application No. on upper left hand corner of the reverse side of the Demand Draft; the demand draft should be drawn on or after the date of CAT 2022 Notification
- DD drawn after the last date fixed for the submission of application will not be accepted.
