AIEESE Primary/Secondary 2022 – All India Engineering Entrance Scholarship Exam (AIEESE) Primary/Secondary Exam provides a platform of support to all IIT/NIT aspirants by granting them a scholarship on qualifying it to pursue engineering education.
This Engineering entrance scholarship is for students, who will be studying in IIT / NIT under the scholarship program of AIEESE (Primary/Secondary) 2022 for an undergraduate degree starting in 2022.

Layout of Scholarship
For AIEESE Primary
Layout of Scholarship for studying in AIEESE (Primary) Participating Institute
- Section A: 2000 students securing 85% or above marks in AIEESE (Primary) are eligible for scholarship (Tuition fee for full 4 years) for studying in any of Govt. approved AIEESE (Primary) participating institutes.
- Section B: 8000 students securing marks more than or equal to 75% and less than 85% in AIEESE (Primary) are eligible for scholarship (Tuition fee for 1 year) for studying in any 1000 Govt. approved AIEESE (Primary) participating institutes.
- Section C: 15000 students securing marks less than 75% in AIEESE (Primary) are eligible for scholarship (Standard Laptop) for studying in any 1000 Govt. approved AIEESE (Primary) participating institutes.
- Note: It is mentioned in the above table that each successful applicant is eligible for a scholarship of at least a standard laptop as stated in section “C”, which will be made available to all qualifying applicants of AIEESE (Primary) 2022.
For AIEESE Secondary
- Section A: 2000 students securing 85% or above marks in AIEESE (Secondary) are eligible for scholarship (Tuition fee for full 4 years) for studying in any of IIT/NIT/IIIT/GFTIs/Top Private Institutions.
- Section B: 3000 students securing marks more than or equal to 75% and less than 85% in AIEESE (Secondary) are eligible for scholarship(Tuition fee for 1 year) for studying in any IIT/NIT/IIIT/GFTIs/Top Private Institutions.
- Section C: 5000 students securing marks more than or equal to 65% and less than 75% AIEESE (Secondary) are eligible for scholarship (Standard Laptop) for studying in any IIT/NIT/IIIT/GFTIs/Top Private Institutions.
- Note: It is mentioned in the above table that each successful applicant is eligible for a scholarship of at least a standard laptop as stated in section “C”, which will be made available to all qualifying applicants of AIEESE (Secondary) 2022.

Distribution of Scholarship
- The applicants, who are applying for AIEESE (Primary) and qualify in the examination with rank up to 1000 in AIEESE (Primary), have to apply for counseling of AIEESE (Primary) online.
- They have to follow the procedure of counseling to get an option to choose the institute and desired branch. The scholarship would be provided after completion of the admission process in the allotted institutes.
- In about the 2nd or 3rd week of October, applicants have to register for scholarship i.e. they have to apply for registration which will be announced on the 2nd or 3rd week of October 2022 on the website Primary – www.aieeseprimary.co.in & Secondary – https://www.aieesesecondary.co.in/. The duration of applying for registration will be 2 weeks only.
- Applicants will receive scholarships in the month of December in their own/personal active bank accounts only. During registration of scholarship, applicants have to mention their own bank accounts details.
- Forgetting scholarships, applicants must have their own active bank accounts.

AIEESE 2022 Eligibility Criteria
For AIEESE Primary 2022
The applicant must have passed the final examination of 10+2 (Class- XII) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination with 50 % marks in all subjects. Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examinations may also appear at AIEESE (Primary) 2022 provisionally.
For AIEESE Secondary 2022
The applicant must have passed the final examination of 10+2 (Class- XII) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination with 50 % marks in all the subjects.
One thing which is important to note down is that Students should have the Non Medical subjects in their class 12th like PCM (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics).
Those students who are appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examinations in 2022 may also appear at AIEESE (Secondary) 2022 provisionally.
Age Limit
Applicants whose date of birth falls on or after 1st Oct. 1996 are eligible to apply for AIEESE (Primary/Secondary) 2022.
However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Physically Handicapped (PH) applicants, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and PH applicants who are born on or after October 01, 1991 are also eligible.
AIEESE 2022 Application Process
Applicants can apply Online for AIEESE (Primary/Secondary) 2022
Applicants visit: Primary – https://www.aieeseprimary.co.in/ & Secondary – https://www.aieesesecondary.co.in/ for online registration.
- Step 1 Registration at AIEESE (Primary/Secondary) : Applicants are requested to register themselves at AIEESE (Primary/Secondary) with their active Email id and Mobile Number. Once registered, applicants need to confirm their mobile number through OTP.
- Step 2 Complete the application form: Once applicants get registered at AIEESE (Primary/Secondary) can proceed with the registered mobile number and password to complete the application form.
- Step 3 Photograph & Aadhaar card number: Applicants have to upload their scanned copy of a recent colour photograph in .jpg / .jpeg and .png format only and fill the Aadhaar Number.
- Step 4 Application Fee Structure: The applicants must fill up their application forms, pay fees and submit them online. Applicants have to pay their examination fee as mentioned in the table below online through Debit card/Credit card/Net Banking or any other medium updated on the webpage.
- Step 5 Submission of application form: Applicants have to submit their duly filled up application form online by clicking the submit button.
- Correction in filled application form: You may edit all the incorrect details in the filled application form, from 1st & 4th April 2022 timings will be 10:00 AM – 11:59 PM.

AIEESE 2022 Exam Pattern
AIEESE (Primary)
- The entrance examination will be conducted online, offline or both, consisting of three sections namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology bearing equal weightage in terms of questions and marks.
- There are four slots of AIEESE (Primary) examination that have 3 hours of time duration.
- The pattern of the examination shall be objective type based and there would be multiple choice questions with four options, having a single correct answer (each correct answer carries four marks).
- For Engineering Aspirants (PCM subject group)
- Physics – 50 Question (200 Marks)
- Chemistry – 50 Question (200 Marks)
- Mathematics – 50 Question (200 Marks)
- For Bio-Engineering Aspirants (PCB subject group)
- Physics – 50 Question (200 Marks)
- Chemistry – 50 Question (200 Marks)
- Biology- 50 Question (200 Marks)
AIEESE (Secondary)
- The pattern of the examination shall be objective type based and there would be multiple choice questions with four options, having a single correct answer (each correct answer carries four marks).
- The applicant is supposed to mark the right answer on the OMR sheet.
- For each incorrect response, one fourth (1/4) of the total marks allotted to the question would be deducted.
- No deduction from the total score will be made, if no response is indicated for an item in the answer sheet.
