Debesh Kamal Scholarship 2022 – The Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Kolkata has invited applications for Debesh-Kamal Scholarships for Higher Education/Research Abroad 2022 from postgraduates interested in pursuing their higher education/ research abroad.

Value and Tenure of the Scholarship
| i. | The value of a scholarship will be around Rs. 1.00 Lakh for one year only. |
| ii. | Since this amount will not be adequate for studies abroad, applicants will have to produce acceptable evidence of other resources or committed financial support. |
| iii. | Debesh-Kamal Scholarship will be tenable for one year only. |
Eligibility Criteria for Debesh Kamal Scholarships 2022
| To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must: | |
| i. | An Indian national |
| ii. | Have a uniformly good academic record with first class marks at the Honours of Postgraduate level |
| iii. | Not be more than 30 years of age |
| Note | Exceptions in terms of age may be made for short-term postgraduate or post-doctoral researchers. |
| Other Conditions | |
| i. | Applicants will have to submit evidence of their having been admitted to a course of study/research at a major university or comparable academic institution abroad. |
| ii. | Research students/scholars will have to submit along with their applications an outline of their research project as may have been approved by the university/institution concerned. |

Debesh Kamal Scholarships 2022 Application Procedure
- Step 1: Download the Application Form
- Step 2: Fill personal details, educational qualifications and sign the declaration.
- Step 3: Attach the required documents including bank draft, photograph and mark sheets.
- Step 4: Send the application to the following address in an envelope with the inscription ‘Debesh-Kamal Scholarship’ “The Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Gol Park, Kolkata-700029”

- Bank draft for INR 100 in favour of the Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture
- Attested photocopies of certificates and mark sheets
Debesh Kamal Scholarship 2022 Selection Procedure
- Applicants will first be shortlisted based on an evaluation of their applications
- Shortlisted applicants will then appear before a Selection Committee at the RMIC Kolkata
- Decision of the Selection Committee about the eligibility of a applicant and his/her selection shall be final.
