- Total Seats: 110+10 [110 Seats on merit through AILET) & 10 Seats for direct admission to Foreign Nationals on merit (5 seats for Foreign Nationals & 5 seats for OCI/PIO)]
LL.M. – One-Year Program

AILET 2023 Application Form
- The admission process of NLU Delhi through AILET is as under:
- Step 1 Online Registration – Candidates need to register online at the official website of NLU Delhi https://nludelhi.ac.in and fill the application form including candidates’ details, uploading documents, fee payment and exam centre selection. The application forms need to be submitted in online mode only.
- Step 2 Issue of Admit Cards – The University will issue admit card to candidates who have successfully registered before the last date of application. Candidates have to carry the admit card on the exam day as it mentions important details regarding the test takers, centre and exam.
- Step 3 Appear for Exam – Candidates have to appear for the examination at the allotted test centres as mentioned on their AILET admit card. They should report to their test centres at least an hour before the examination.
- Step 4 Results Declaration – The University will announce AILET results within a month after conducting the examination. The scorecard of candidates qualifying the examination will mention All India Rank, sectional scores, as well as overall scores.
- Step 5 Counselling on basis – The University will conduct counselling on the basis of the rank list and also verify the candidates’ eligibility for the law course they are seeking admission in.
Application Fee

- General – Rs.3050/-
- SC/ ST/ PwD – Rs.1050/-
- SC/ ST – BPL – Exempted
Mode of Payment
- Candidates can pay the application fee for AILET 2023 online by credit card/debit card or by internet banking and fee can be submitted in offline mode by depositing the cash amount at post office

AILET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Five-Year Program
- Eligibility: Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 50% marks. The candidates appearing in the 12th standard examination in March/April 2022 can also apply.
- Reservation: 15% for SC candidates, 7.5% for ST candidates and 5% for Persons with Disabilities.
Note – One additional supernumerary seat for Kashmiri Migrants. Two additional supernumerary seats for Residents of Jammu & Kashmir.
LL.M. One-Year Program
- Eligibility: LL.B. or an Equivalent Law Degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities). The applicants appearing in the final year LL.B. Examination in March/April 2022 can also apply.
- Reservation: 15% for SC applicants, 7.5% for ST candidates, 5% for Persons with Disabilities.
Note: One additional supernumerary seat for Kashmiri Migrants.
Ph.D. Program
- Eligibility: LL.M. Degree with 55% Marks or its Equivalent (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities). For detailed eligibility conditions visit University website www.nludelhi.ac.in
AILET 2023 Admission Process
- Admission to B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M. and Ph.D. Programs will be through AILET to be conducted at Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Cuttack, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, and Varanasi.
Note: Reservations for admissions are subject to any decision by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi and NLU Delhi.
