Sainik School Kodagu Admission 2023 – Sainik School Kodagu, has invited applications from eligible boy candidates for admissions to Class VI and IX standards, through the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination, for the new academic session 2023-24.

All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for all Schools throughout the Country on the Second Sunday of January every year for admission into Classes VI & IX.

Interested candidates (Indian Domiciled) are to fill out the Online Application as per guidelines issued by NTA through their Website.

Aim

To prepare the boys academically, mentally, and physically for entry into the National Defence Academy/ Indian Naval Academy.

Sainik School Kodagu Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

For Admission to Class-VI: A candidate should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31 March 2023 for admission to Class-VI; i.e. he/she should have been born between 01 April 2011 and 31 March 2013 (both days inclusive) for admission to the Academic Year 2023-24. Admission for girls is Class VI. Age criteria are the same as for boys.
For Admission to Class-IX: A candidate should be between 13 and 15 years as on 31 March 2023 for admission to Class-IX; i.e. he should have been born between 01 April 2008 and 31 March 2010 (both days inclusive) for admission to the Academic Year 2023-24. He should have passed the Class-VIII Exam from a Recognised School at the time of admission
Admission to Class-IX is not open to girls as of now.
Curriculum – 10+2 System of CBSE (Science Stream)

Mode of Examination

Paper Pencil on OMR Answer Sheets with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) for both Classes VI and IX.
Candidates are advised to check the availability of seats and reservation criteria for admission into Sainik School Kodagu in the Information Bulletin published/uploaded on the Website of NTA.
Admission to Sainik Schools for Classes VI & IX will be only through appearing in the Entrance Examination. There is no provision for lateral admission in any other class in Sainik Schools or to change the choice of the School made at the time of applying Online.
Only Indian Nationals are eligible to appear for the AISSEE.
