FACT Recruitment 2021 – Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore (FACT) has released the notification regarding filling of Graduate Apprentice, Trade Apprentice and Technician Apprentice Job Vacancies.

The Government organization invites Offline application from eligible candidates have ITI qualifications. These 179 Graduate Apprentice, Trade Apprentice and Technician Apprentice Posts are Kerala. The eligible candidates can apply for the post through Offline (By Post) from 26th November 2021 to 18th December 2021.

Eligibility for FACT Graduate, Technician and Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2021

Age Limit

Graduate Apprentice

• Age, not more than 25 years for general candidates as on 01-01-2022For general candidates with date of birth on or after 02.01.1997 OBC candidates with date of birth on or after 02.01.1994 For SC/ST candidates with date of birth on or after 02.01.1992

Technician Apprentice

• Age, not more than 23 years for general candidates as on 01-01-2022For general candidates with date of birth on or after 02.01.1999. For OBC candidates with date of birth on or after 02.01.1996. For SC/ST candidates with date of birth on or after 02.01.1994

Trade Apprentice

• Age, not more than 23 years as on 01.01.2022.For general candidates – Date of birth on or after 02.01.1999. For OBC candidates (NCL) – Date of birth on or after 02.01.1996. For SC/ST candidates: Date of birth on or after 02.01.1994.

Educational Qualification

Trade Apprentice

• National Trade Certificate in Fitter, Machinist, Electrician, Plumber, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Instrument Mechanic, Painter, Welder (Gas & Electric), Carpenter, Mechanic (Diesel), COPA/ Front Office Assistant.
• Eligibility: 60% marks in the relevant ITI/ ITC Trade (NCVT approved); 50% marks for SC/ ST. Applicants domiciled in Kerala will be considered

Graduate Apprentices

• Engineering Degree (B Tech/ BE UGC/ AICTE recognised regular course) in any one of following discipline: 1.Computer 2.Computer Science and Engg. 3.Civil 4.Chemical 5. Mechanical 6.Electrical & Electronics 7.Instrumentation & Control 8.Applied Electronics & Instrumentation 9. Electronics & Instrumentation
• Eligibility: Engineering Degree with an aggregate of minimum 60% marks in qualifying exam for General category and minimum 50% marks for SC/ ST in the relevant discipline and should not have completed more than 3 years after passing Degree as on 31st March 2022. BOAT Southern Region Registered KERALA Candidates are only eligible to apply

Technician (Diploma) Apprentices

• A three-year Diploma in Engineering in any one of the following disciplines (State Board of Technical Education recognized regular course) 1. Chemical 2.Computer 3.Civil 4.Electrical 5.Electrical & Electronics 6.Instrumentation 7.Electronics & Instrumentation 8.Instrument Technology 9.Mechanical 10. Commercial Practice
• Eligibility: Diploma with an aggregate of minimum 60% marks in qualifying exam for General category and minimum 50% marks for SC/ ST category in the relevant discipline and should not have completed more than 3 years after passing Diploma as on 31st March 2022. BOAT Southern Region Registered KERALA Candidates are only eligible to apply.

FACT Graduate, Technician and Trade Apprentice Selection Process

Trade Apprentice

• Rank list based on ITI marks and SSLC/ equivalent marks with 50% weightage for each eligible candidate will be prepared and will be available on the website. The offer letter will be sent to the email id of the selected candidates

Graduate Apprentices

• The merit list for selection will be prepared based on marks obtained in Qualifying Examination 50% marks and Plus Two 50% marks weightage for graduate and 50% marks 10th standard for diploma.

Technician (Diploma) Apprentices

• The merit list for selection will be prepared based on marks obtained in Qualifying Examination 50% marks and Plus Two 50% marks weightage for graduate and 50% marks 10th standard for diploma.

• Interested and Eligible candidates may send their application in the prescribed format along with original and copies of certificates to prove their age, qualification, caste etc. to “The Deputy Manager (Training), FACT Training and Development Centre, Udyogamandal Eloor, Ernakulam Dist. Pin: 683501.” on or before 12 December 2021

• Read the Full Notification carefully and check your eligibility criteria.
• Visit the Online Official Online Application / Registration link below.
• Fill in the required details correctly without any mistakes.
• Upload all required documents in the format and size mentioned in the notification.
• After verifying that the registered details are correct, then submit.
• Next, if Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore (FACT) requires an application fee, make the payment as per the notification mode. Otherwise, go to the next step.
• Take a printout of it and keep it safe

• A copy of the following documents should be attested and sent to the address mentioned below along with the application form.
• 10th Pass Certificate & Mark List for Diploma / Graduate candidate.
• 12th Pass Certificate & Mark List for Graduate candidate.
• Graduation / Diploma Pass Certificate & Mark List.
• Caste Certificate in the case of SC/ST, Non-Creamy Layer Certificate in the case of OBC candidates & EWS Certificate in the case of Economically Weaker Section (which should be valid as per the date mentioned in the certificate and in any case issued not before 6 Months by an officer not less than the rank of a Tahsildar). Disability Certificate (for PwBD candidates) from competent Medical Board (PwBD will be considered for selection to Computer Discipline and Commercial Practice Apprenticeship only).
