Eligibility Criteria for India Post Payments Bank GDS Recruitment 2022

  • Candidates who are aspiring for the IPPB Recruitment 2022 must know the eligibility criteria before applying.

Education Qualification

  • The candidates who are willing to fill out the application form must have completed their Graduation from a University/ Institution/ Board recognized by the Government of India (or) approved by a Government Regulatory Body.

Age Criteria

  • Candidates should have been born not earlier than 30/04/1987 and not later than 30/04/2002. The prescribed age limit is 20-35 Years.

Minimum Experience

  • The Candidates applying for the IPPB Recruitment 2022 for the executive posts should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a GDS ( Grameen Dak Sevak).

IPPB GDS How to Apply?

  1. Candidates to go to the IPPB Ltd. website https://ippbonline.com/web/ippb/current-openings click on the option “APPLY ONLINE” which will open a new screen.
  2. To register your application, choose the tab “Click here for New Registration” and enter your Name, Contact details, and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. The candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.
  3. In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he/she can save the data already entered by choosing the “SAVE AND NEXT” tab. Prior to submission of the online application, candidates are advised to use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. Visually Impaired candidates should fill the application form carefully and verify/ get the details verified to ensure that the same are correct prior to final submission.
  4. Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the COMPLETE REGISTRATION BUTTON.
  5. The Name of the candidate or his /her Father/ Husband etc. should be spelled correctly in the application as it appears in the Certificates/ Mark sheets/Identity proof. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature.
  6. Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the ‘Validate your details and ‘Save & Next’ buttons.
  7. Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature detailed under point “C”.
  8. Candidates can proceed to fill in other details of the Application Form.
  9. Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before COMPLETE REGISTRATION.
  10. Modify details, if required, and click on ‘COMPLETE REGISTRATION ONLY after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded and other details filled by you are correct.
  11. Click on the ‘Payment’ Tab and proceed with payment.
  12. Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Payment of Fees

Online Mode

  1. The application form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions.
  2. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
  3. After submitting your payment information in the online application form, PLEASE WAIT FOR THE INTIMATION FROM THE SERVER. DO NOT PRESS BACK OR REFRESH BUTTON IN ORDER TO AVOID DOUBLE CHARGE
  4. On successful completion of the transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated.
  5. Non-generation of ‘E-Receipt’ indicates PAYMENT FAILURE. On failure of payment, Candidates are advised to log in again using their Provisional Registration Number and Password and repeat the process of payment.
  6. Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-Receipt and online Application Form containing fee details. Please note that if the same cannot be generated, the online transactions may not have been successful.
  7. For Credit Card users: All charges are listed in Indian Rupee. If you use a non-Indian credit card, your bank will convert to your local currency based on prevailing exchange rates.
  8. To ensure the security of your data, please close the browser window once your transaction is completed.
  9. There is the facility to print the application form containing fee details after payment of fees.

India Post Payments Bank GDS Pay and Allowances

IPPB GDS Pay

  • The Bank shall pay a lump sum amount of INR 30,000/- per month inclusive of statutory deductions & contributions as applicable to the GDSs engaged to IPPB as Executives.
  • Tax deductions will be done as per IT Act as amended from time to time.

IPPB GDS Allowances

  • Annual increment of lump-sum payments and incentives based on performance in business acquisition/sales activities as decided by the Competent Authority.
  • Further, it is clarified that no other pay/allowances/Bonus, etc. shall be paid except those mentioned in above points number 1 and 2.

Tenure of Engagement

  • The tenure of engagement shall be for two (2) years and further extendable by one (1) year, subject to satisfactory performance, if required, as per the Bank’s business requirements and in the exigencies of public services.
  • Business Performance shall be reviewed every six months. In case Performance is found dis-satisfactory over two consecutive reviews, the engaged GDS may be repatriated after serving one-month notice.

Place of Posting

  • Unless otherwise requested, GDS on engagement with IPPB shall be posted in the same circle in which they are currently engaged as GDS with the Department of Posts.
  • However, if the candidate wishes to apply for any other circle, then the same is to be selected from the list provided in the application form. In all such cases place of posting will be in the circle he/she has chosen while applying for the said post and not the circle where is currently engaged as GDS at the Department of Posts.

Q1. What should I do if there is a lot of delay in accessing the page?

Ans. Speed for Registration of On-Line Applications on the Internet is based on various factors like Internet Speed, the large number of applicants trying to register the application at the same time, etc. Therefore if you are not able to get the pages for registration immediately, please retry after a gap of 15 minutes or during off-peak hours the night.

Q2. How do I know that my application is registered?

Ans. Successful Registration is indicated by the Page displayed after clicking the Submit Button indicating the generated “REGISTRATION NO.” and “PASSWORD”. Please note down the same carefully and preserve it. If you do not preserve it, you will not be able to Re-Print the Application and download the Call Letter, results, etc.

Q3. I did not receive the email intimation for registration of my application?

Ans. “REGISTRATION NO.” and “PASSWORD” are also sent by auto-response Confirmation emails. Delivery of these emails purely depends upon the correctness of the E-Mail ID provided, the Policy of your E-Mail Service Provider to accept and Divert such emails under Bulk or Spam Mails or bounce back such mails without accepting it due to the heavy number of emails generated by our Applications. In the case of Govt./official /company Email Ids, delivery is controlled by your Company Policies. You may be guided accordingly.

Q4. How do I re-confirm that my application is saved?

Ans. In case of doubt about the successful Registration, candidates are advised to visit the Page for a Re-Print of the Application / e-Receipt, generate the Printout and preserve the soft copy and hard copy (printout) of the Application.

Q5. Did I get Blank / Zero Registration No. after submitting of application online?

Ans. In rare cases, Candidates may get Zero (0) Registration No. with a valid Password. Candidates are advised to Re-Register the Application and check the Printout through the Re-Print Application.

Q6. I did not receive the acknowledgment/reply to my email communication?

Ans. “Reply to” Email Id for the Application is created for the convenience of the Candidates for genuine communications. Please do not use this address to send back the emails for “Acknowledgment”, “Vacation Mail”, “Friendship Offers”, “Sales Offers” etc. Our Email Server is configured to delete such emails automatically.

Q7. What details should I retain while replying to auto-response emails?

Ans. While writing back by replying to the confirmation emails for genuine problems, please retain the text containing “REGISTRATION NO.” and “PASSWORD” details on the email.
