BEE New Delhi Project Engineer Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates should complete B.E/ B.Tech or a Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical) / Post-graduation in the relevant discipline, with an overall perspective of National Energy Programs and Policies with a thrust on Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation.
- Graduate in Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade in engineering.
- A minimum of one year of experience in Research / Development / Design / Academic Institutions / Government Departments / Institutes / Organizations dealing with Energy Efficiency or its conservation, energy auditing, and other related areas.
BEE New Delhi Project Engineer Selection Process
- The selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the Written Test followed by an interview.
- Candidates who had applied for Project Engineer Posts must-attend for Screening Test by Short-listing process.
- Short-listed candidates in the interview will be intimated through a registered e-mail ID.
- Marks obtained in the screening test will be added to the final Interview process.
- If two or more candidates will secure the same marks in the examination, their shortlisting will depends upon the Seniority of the date of birth of both the candidates.
- Shortlisted candidates in the examination will be called for Interviews.
Expected Competencies
- Ability to conduct research and collate background information on energy-efficient technologies and best practices
- Should be able to provide technical inputs culled from various reports developed under the project (as well as external sources) for developing awareness and outreach materials such as case studies, documentaries, broachers, etc. for the benefit of project stakeholders.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders appointed by BEE under various projects for coordinating training, workshops, meetings, etc.
- Ability to evaluate technical proposals received from various consulting firms and prepares summary reports.
- Good communication skills (oral and written) in English and Hindi.
- Should have strong analytical & conceptual skills
- Should be computer savvy
- Contract: Engagement will be made on a contract basis initially for a period of one year, extendable annually on achievement of identified Key Performance Indicators.
- Note: Candidature is liable to be rejected at any stage of the recruitment process if any information provided by the candidate is found to be incorrect.
Age Limit
- Not more than 27 years as on date of publishing advertisement in employment newspaper. Age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates will be given as per Govt. rules.
Terms of Contract
- Engagement will be made on a contract basis initially for a period of one year, extendable annually on achievement of identified Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Contract Amount
- Consolidated amount of Rs. 60,000/- per month on initial appointment.
Other Allowances
- Since the engagement will be purely on a contract basis, they will not be eligible for any perks/benefits admissible to regular employees of BEE.

- The interested applicants may submit an online application through the web portal given on BEE’s website (gov.in) giving complete details of their qualifications and experience within 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement in Employment News / leading newspapers.
- The Bureau reserves the right to relax the eligibility and other criteria in case of exceptionally outstanding candidates.

- Candidature is liable to be rejected at any stage of the recruitment process if any information provided by the candidate is found to be incorrect.
- Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected.
- Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria would be shortlisted in order of merit.
- Selection will be done based on a written test followed by personal interaction with the shortlisted candidates. The candidate selected will be offered engagement purely on a contract basis with no claim for regular employment in BEE.

- Selected Candidates will get pay Rs.60,000/-PM by the recruiting organization.
