MAH M.Ed CET 2022 Dates, Eligibility, Exam Pattern and Application Process
MAH M.Ed CET 2022 – State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has invited online applications for MAH MEd CET 2022 for admission to the first year of 2years of full-time Postgraduate Degree courses in Education leading to (Master of Education) M.Ed. Recently, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) declared the opening date for MAH M.Ed CET 2022. Candidates who have completed their Masters in Education would be eligible to apply for this exam. This exam is for admissions to various M.Ed courses offered at the Universities in Maharashtra. Course Offered at
- The admissions to the following institutes will be done by the Competent Authority, provided they are approved and recognized by the Government of Maharashtra and are affiliated to any of the Non-agricultural universities in the State of Maharashtra State :
- The Government College of Education offers M.Ed. Course,
- All Government Aided Colleges (including Aided Minority Institutions) offering M.Ed. Course,
- All University Departments offering M.Ed. Course,
- All University Managed Institutes offering M.Ed. Course,
- All Un-aided colleges (including Minority Institutions) offering M.Ed. Course, covered as per the Act.
- All Self-Financed Government, Government Aided Institutions offering M.Ed. Course.
MAH M.Ed CET 2022 Important Dates
- Online Registration and Confirmation of Application Form for MAH M.Ed. Course CET 2022: From Tuesday, 22nd March 2022 to Thursday, 07th April 2022
- Issue of Hall Ticket through Friday, 22nd April 2022 Onwards.
- Date of Online MAH-M.Ed. CET 2022: Thursday, 19th May 2022
- Declaration of the result of the MAH-M.Ed. CET-2022: To be declared later on.

MAH M.Ed CET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The Applicant should be an Indian Citizen.
Educational Qualification for Maharashtra State Candidature:-
Applicant should have obtained at least 50% Marks (Minimum 45% marks in case of Backward Class categories from the State of Maharashtra belonging to SC, ST, VJ/DT*- NT (A)*, NT (B)*, NT (C)*, NT (D)*, OBC*, Categories having Caste Certificate, Caste Validity and Valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate* valid up to 31 March 2023) or an Equivalent Grade in any one of the following programs:
- B.Ed.
- B.A.-B.Ed./, B.Sc.-B.Ed. (Four Year Integrated Course)
- B.El.Ed.
- D.El.Ed. with an Undergraduate Degree (with 50% marks in Each Course.)
- (Minimum 45% Marks in case of Backward Class Categories from the State of Maharashtra only).
- From NCTE Approved College of Education affiliated to recognized Non-Agricultural University in India Educational qualification for Outside Maharashtra State Applicant: (All India Candidature) (OMS)
All Applicant belonging to OMS/ All India Candidature belonging to All Categories should have obtained at least 50% Marks or an Equivalent Grade in any one of the following programs:
- B.Ed.
- B.A.-B.Ed./, B.Sc.-B.Ed. (Four Year Integrated Course)
- B.El.Ed.
- D.El.Ed. with an Undergraduate Degree (with 50% marks in Each Course.) from NCTE Approved College of Education affiliated to a recognized Non-Agricultural University in India.

MAH M.Ed CET 2022 Application Form
- Applicants visit DHE’s website https://cetcell.mahacet.org/ for online registration
- Applicants are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the FINAL SUBMIT BUTTON.
- Applicants should modify the details filled in if required before finally submitting.
Application Fee
- CET Fee for Open Category applicants from Maharashtra State, Out Side Maharashtra State (OMS)/All India Applicants belonging to all Categories, and J&K Migrant Applicants: Rs. 1000/-
- CET Fee-For Applicants belonging to Backward Class Categories (SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT (A), NT-1 (B), NT-2(C), NT-3(D), OBC SBC and categories ) belonging to Maharashtra State only having valid Caste Certificate: Rs. 800/-
- Mode of Payment: Through the online mode.
MAH M.Ed CET 2022 Exam Pattern
- Mode of Exam: Online Mode
- Test duration: 90 minutes
- Medium of CET: English and Marathi.
- Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
- Total: 100 Questions
- Total: 100 marks
- There is No Negative Marking.
- CET comprises one paper with Five Sections:
- Educational Philosophy- and Educational Sociology – 20 Questions
- Educational Psychology – 20 Questions
- Educational Evaluation and Educational Statistics – 20 Questions
- School Administration and Management – 20 Questions
- Information and Communication Technology and Research Aptitude – 20 Questions
