NIFT 2022 Entrance Exam Notification
NIFT Entrance Exam 2022 – National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), will be conducting NIFT 2022 Entrance Test on March 2022 for admissions to NIFT B.Des, B.F.Tech, M.Des. (Master of Design), M.F.M. (Master of Fashion Management) and M.FTech. (Master of Fashion Technology) courses for the academic year 2022. National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is a set of 16 public institutions. Every year a national-level entrance exam is conducted for NIFT admissions by NIFT Delhi. The exam is a gateway for bachelor’s courses in Design (B.Des.) and Fashion Technology (B.F. Tech.), and Master’s Courses in Design (M.Des.), Fashion Technology (M.F. Tech.) and Fashion Management (M.F.M.). NIFT 2022 will be organised by NIFT, Delhi for all the sixteen Campuses around India.

Eligibility Criteria for NIFT 2022
Eligibility for Bachelor’s Programs (B.Des & B.FTech)
Qualifying Age for B.Des & B.FTech |
Maximum age should be less than 24 years as on 1st August of the year of admission. The upper age limit may be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for applicants of Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Person with Disability (PWD) categories |
Educational qualification for B.Des |
The +2 level examinations in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education / State Board New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi. |
A pass grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects. |
3 or 4-years diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education. |
Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system |
General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/ Cambridge/Sri-Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level/ International Baccalaureate (IB). |

NIFT 2022 Entrance Exam Application Process
- Application Form and Prospectus will be available online only.
- Applicants can apply online through the official website www.nift.ac.in or https://applyadmission.net/nift2021/
- Applicants are advised to keep a print out/photocopy of Application Form for further reference along with proof of payment.
- Window to edit/ update Application Form Prior to making the payment applicant can edit/amend the information in the online application. Once the payment has been made by the applicant he/she will not be allowed to change/modify any information by the system.
- Guidelines for applying online may be referred for the purpose. The prospectus is available at NIFT website www.nift.ac.in free of cost.

NIFT 2022 Admit Card
The applicants have to download the admit card from the website www.nift.ac.in |
Admit Cards Entry to the Examination Centre will be allowed with admit cards only. On the basis of information given in the NIFT Application Forms, Admit Cards of provisionally eligible applicants will be available for download from www.nift.ac.in or https:// applyadmission.net/nift2021 from 1st February, 2022 onwards. Admit cards will not be sent by post. Applicants are advised to regularly check the NIFT website for updates. Note: Admit Cards, Results and Counselling Schedule will be available on NIFT’s website only. No separate communication will be sent by post. |

For applicants to the UG Design programs, the selection process comprises a written examination comprising a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT), followed by a Situation Test to be undertaken by shortlisted applicants of the written examination. |
B.FTech |
For applicants to the UG Fashion Technology program, the selection process comprises a written examination comprising of a General Ability Test (GAT) |

Note |
The objective type tests are subject to negative marking. The negative marking will apply at the rate of 0.25 each wrong answer. |

Written Exam (for all programs) |
· Based on their choice of city, all eligible applicants will have to appear for the written entrance examination at the Examination Centres opted by them. The written entrance examination is designed to test the knowledge, skill and aptitude of the applicants for the programme opted. |
Examination Centres
· A Paper Based Test (PBT) for all UG and PG Programmes will be conducted on March, 2022 at 32 cities. The applicant may select only One city for the examination scheduled on March, 2022. No request for change in the examination center will be entertained at any stage. |
