Odisha State Higher Education Council announces Common PG Entrance Test (CPET-2022)

Odisha CPET 2022 – The Government of Odisha, Higher Education Department has released the notification for the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET) 2022 for Admission to PG Courses in the Odisha State Public Universities and Colleges under Student Academic Management System (SAMS) for the session 2022-23.

Odisha CPET 2022: Odisha CPET is shortened to Odisha Common PG Entrance Test for providing admission to postgraduate courses. Department of Higher Education is responsible for commencing the entrance test in several universities and colleges across the state. Odisha CPET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Students must check the eligibility criteria for the Odisha CPET exam before applying. Here are the complete details:

• To apply for AIHCA (Ancient Indian History Culture and Archeology), the applicant must have acquired at least 45% marks in graduation from the Arts stream.
• To apply for Analytical Chemistry, the applicant must graduate from the Arts stream and attain a minimum of 45% in aggregate.
• Applicants can apply for Anthropology if he/she is from the Arts stream and attained at least 45% in aggregate in the qualifying exam.
• To apply for Applied Physics, the applicant must have attained a minimum of 45% marks in graduation from the Science stream.
• To apply for the Bio-Chemistry course, the applicant must graduate from the Arts stream with a 50%
• For Botany, the applicant must be a graduate of the Science stream and achieve 45% marks in the last qualifying exam.
• For Economics, the applicant must be a graduate in any stream and attain at least 45% marks in the last qualifying exam.
• To apply for English, the applicant must be from the Arts stream in the last qualifying exam and acquired at least 45% marks in the last qualifying exam.

Odisha CPET 2022 Application Procedure

The application form for Odisha CPET 2022 is released by OSHEC through SAMS.

• First, go to the official website and click the link for ‘New User registration’. Now, Enter Your Name, Mobile Number and E-Mail Id.
• Click on Generate OTP.
• Applicants will then receive the OTP on their mobile phones. Enter the OTP and create a password.
• Login with your mobile number as well as a password.
• Now, you will Registration page on the screen. Fill in the application form with all the details and select the subject.
• Upload your latest photo.
• Submit the application form and download the form.

Odisha CPET 2022 Application Fee

• General Applicants: Rs.500.00 for the first subject applied for (CAF) with Rs.200 for each subsequent subject
• SC/ST Applicants: Rs.300.00 for the first subject applied for (CAF) with Rs.200 for each subsequent subject.
• No fee will be collected from PwD and Transgender applicants.
