AP TET Recruitment 2022 – The Government of Andhra Pradesh (School Education Department) has published a notification for Conducting Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2022.
APTET official notification has been released by the government of Andhra Pradesh. The exam is scheduled for August, this year. It will eliminate the issues which were found in the previous year. Many people are confused about the APTET exam. A lot of students try to understand the process and what they should do to prepare for the test.
APTET is an entrance exam conducted by the Andhra Pradesh government to select teachers for their schools. AP TET 2022
- The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET 2022) will be conducted by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh in all Districts through a Computer Based Test.
- The objective of TET is to ensure National Standards and benchmark Teacher quality in the recruitment process in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE).

AP TET Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria
- The candidates at the time of applying for APTET, August 2022 should be in possession of the minimum qualifications prescribed for a teacher for I to V classes (Paper-I (A) & (B)) and VI to VIII classes (Paper-II (A) & (B)) as given in Information Bulletin.
- The candidates who are pursuing the final year of any of the Teacher Education Courses recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be, up to the academic year 2020-2022 can also appear for the APTET August 2022.
- However, it is clarified that appearance or a pass in APTET by itself will not vest any right on the candidate to be considered for appointment to the post of Teacher in Government / Zilla Parishad / Mandal Parishad / Municipal and Private Aided Schools, etc., under the control of the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh unless he/she is in possession of the qualifications prescribed for appointment to such post in the relevant statutory recruitment rules framed by State Government from time to time or by the said management as on the date prescribed therein., and also pass in Teacher recruitment test.

Educational Qualification
- For Primary Level Class 1-5 APTET Qualification: Candidates must have qualified Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 50% marks and 2-year D.El.Ed/BTC & Applicants should have Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 45 % Marks and 2-year D.El.Ed/ BTC by NCTE & Aspirants must have Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 50% Marks with 4 Year B.El.Ed & Candidates should have qualified for a Graduation and a 2-year D.El.Ed/BTC & Graduate with 50 % Marks and BEd. The Candidates who are appearing in D.El.Ed 2nd Year can apply for APTET 2022.
- For Primary Level Class 6-8 APTET Qualification: Candidates must have BA/ BSc and 2 Year D.El.Ed & Aspirants should have Qualified BA/ BSc with a minimum of 50% marks and 1 Year B.Ed & Applicants must have Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 50% Marks and 4 Year B.El.Ed & Candidates should have Intermediate / Senior Secondary with a minimum of 50% marks and 4 years BA/ BSc.Ed or BA.Ed/ BSc.Ed & Applicants must have BA/ BSc with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed (Special Education) and TET Qualify.
