Assam TET Application Form 2021 out-SSA Notification, Apply Online Form
Assam TET Notification 2021 – Department of Education (Elementary) has released a notification for conduct the Teacher Eligibility Test 2021 for Lower Primary and Upper Primary Level for the state of Assam. The candidates having permanent residence in the state of Assam who intends to appear in Paper I (Lower Primary) and Paper ll (Upper Primary) of TET can apply through the online mode
The last date of application is 25th September 2021. The exam is scheduled to be held on 24th October 2021. The candidates can check the educational qualification, experience, selection criteria and other details below.

Assam TET 2021 Exam Notification
In provision of Section 23 of the RTE Act – 2009, Government of Assam has decided to conduct the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2021 for both Lower Primary and Upper Primary level for the state of Assam
- TET 2021 will be held as per the guidelines laid down by NCTE and all eligible permanent resident candidates of Assam may apply for Paper I( Lower Primary) and Paper II ( Upper Primary) of TET.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam TET 2021
- The eligibility criteria of a candidate to appear in TET are as follows:
- The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- Candidate must have a minimum academic and professional qualification as per NCTE norms as follows
Minimum Qualification
For Lower Primary TET (Classes I to V)
- Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary
- Education (by whatever name known) OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.E1.Ed) OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed obtained from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in class I to V, provided the person so appointed as a teacher will have to mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher.
For appearing in Upper Primary TET (Classes VI to VIII)
- Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post Graduation and B. Ed OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year B.A./8. Sc. Ed. Or B.A. Ed/B. Sc. Ed. OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year B. Ed.(Special Education)
Minimum Marks to Qualify in TET
- A candidate is required to score 60 % i.e. 90 marks out of 150 to qualify the Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET). However, for SC/ST (Hills)/ST (Plain)/OBC/MOBC/PWD (PH), there will be relaxation of 5 %. Thus, for these candidates, qualifying marks will be 83 out of 150 i.e. 55 %
- Note: Candidates who intend to appear in both the papers i.e. Paper I and Paper II will have to pay the fee for both the papers separately and will have to submit Online Application accordingly at one go
- Candidates must pay the examination fee through online mode only
- Fee once paid will not be refunded.

Relaxation
- Following relaxation will be applicable Relaxation up to 5 % in the academic marks in HSSLC or Graduation shall be applicable for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PWD(PH) to appear in TET (The degree of handicap in case of PH candidates should be minimum 40% and to be certified by the competent authority) both for Paper-| (LP Level) and Paper-II (UP Level)
- For Paper-I (LP Level) relaxation up to 5 % in HSSLC marks shall be applicable for candidates who were admitted in 2- Year D.EI.Ed before 31/08/2009 as per NCTE Notification No. F.51-1/2009-NCTE (N&S) dated 31% August 2009 and qualified 2-Year D.El.Ed subsequently
- For Paper-II (UP Level) relaxation up to 5 % in Graduation marks shall be applicable for candidates who were admitted in 1-Year B.Ed. before 31/08/2009 as per NCTE Notification No. F.51-1/2009-NCTE (N&S) dated 31% August 2009 and qualified 1-Year B.Ed. subsequently.

Duration of Exam
- 5 hours (150 Minutes) for Paper-l and 2.5 hours (150 Minutes) for Paper ll. Additional 20 minutes time (per hour) will be there for visually impaired candidates.
Minimum Marks for Qualifying in TET
- A candidate is required to score 60 % i.e. 90 marks out of 150 to qualify for the Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET). However, for SC/ST (Hills)/ST(Plain)/OBC/MOBC/PWD (PH), there will be a relaxation of 5 oh. Thus, for these candidates, qualifying marks will be 83 out of 150 i.e. 55 %. There will be no negative marking.

How to Apply?
- Log-in-through the website https://ssa.assam.gov.in or https://sebonline.org
- Applicant should have a valid Email Id.
- Before filling Online Application Form Download the advertisement and read the same carefully. Candidates ascertain the eligibility before filling the application form and paying fees. The fee is Non-Refundable and Non-Adjustable.
- Candidate should note the password given by Him/Her and keep in safe custody. It is necessary for further login. Safe custody of the password is the responsibility of the candidate.
- Please note that if a candidate commits any mistake in filling the online Application Form, it cannot be corrected by this office. The Office will take no responsibility of any kind for such forms.
- The Applicant must possess the required criteria and education qualification as mentioned in the Information Brochure.
- Applicant email id and mobile number will be used for further correspondence.
- After reading the above instructions to fill Online Application Form, the Applicant has to click the Next button to display the Online Application Form.
- Fill the Online Application Form carefully and upload scanned photograph and signature (Size of photograph and signature Should not be greater than 35KB, 30KB respectively. The photograph and signature should be either in ‘.jpeg’ or ‘.jpg’ format).
- There is a provision to make changes in the Application Form. However, before Click on Submit Button Candidate should verify the entries made in the Application Form. There is no provision to make changes in the Application Form once submit button is clicked.
- The candidate has to make Payment through Online Payment Gateway.
- Applicants need not send a copy of the application form or any document to this office. However, the candidate may take the print out the application form for His/Her subsequent use/record.
- Candidate has to submit Online Application Form only once In case candidate submits multiple Online Application Form for Lower Primary (LP) & Upper Primary (UP), he/she may get different Venue of examination
- If there is any change in the date of Examination due to unavoidable circumstances then that will be notified in due course of time.
