Kerala Police Constable Recruitment 2022 – Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has released the notification for recruitment to the post of Constable to the Commando Wing (Men Only) of India Reserve Battalion through a Special Selection Board. Interested and eligible candidates can submit applications online on or before 18 May 2022.

Kerala Police Constable Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- The candidate’s age should be between a minimum of 18 years to 22 years to apply for the Constable post in Kerala. Age should be calculated as of 01.01.2022. No age relaxation will be given for any special category.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates should have completed SSLC or its equivalent to apply for the post of Constable in KPSC recruitment 2022.
- Note: Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of the qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant government order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification concerned.

Kerala Police Constable Selection Criteria
- Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Endurance Test (Qualifying Test), Written Test/ OMR Test, and Physical Efficiency Test.
Physical Qualifications
- Must be physically fit and should possess the following minimum physical standards as prescribed below:
- Height – 167 cms
- Chest – 81 cms with a minimum expansion of 5 cms

- Must be certified to possess the Visual Standards specified below without glasses.

How to Apply?
- Candidates must register as per ONE TIME REGISTRATION with the official Website of the Kerala Public Service Commission keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered can apply by logging on to their profile using their User-ID and Password.
- Candidates must click on the ‘Apply Now button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for a post. Those candidates who create a new profile from 01.01.2022 onwards should upload their photographs taken within six months. The name of the candidate and the date of photograph taken should be printed legibly at the bottom portion.
- There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of personal information and the secrecy of passwords. Before the final submission of the application on the profile, candidates must ensure the correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User-ID for further communication with the Commission. The application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission.
- Candidates are advised to keep a printout or soft copy of the online application for future reference. Candidates can take the printout of the application by clicking on the link ‘My applications’ in their profile.
- All correspondences with the Commission, regarding the application, should be accompanied by the printout of the application. The application will be summarily rejected if non-compliance with the notification is found in due course of processing. Original documents to prove qualification, experience, age, community, etc. have to be produced as and when called for.
- Appropriate disciplinary action as per Rules of Procedure Rule 22 shall be initiated against those candidates who submit applications with bogus claims of qualification regarding education, experience, etc, and submit confirmation for writing examination irrespective of whether they are present or absent for the examination.
Kerala Police Constable Salary Details
- Selected candidates for the post of Constable in Kerala will get paid Rs. 31100 to Rs. 66800 per month.
