Upper Age Limit
- 28 years as on 18.06.2022
Essential Qualification
- Full-time Three years LLB or Five years integrated Law course with not less than 60% marks or equivalent CGPA as per the formula provided by the Institute/ University
- Final Year / Semester students of academic session 2021-22, who expect their results by 31.08.2022 may also be considered eligible, provided they obtain a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate of all semesters/ years up to pre-final examination while applying.

Relaxations & Concessions
- Relaxation/ Concession to candidates belonging to different categories shall be as per Government of India directives.
- Relaxation in Marks in essential qualification for SC candidates: Qualifying Marks in essential qualification is relaxed to 45%.

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit
- For OBC(NCL) candidates : 3 years (for posts reserved for the respective category)
- For SC candidates: 5 years (for posts reserved for the respective category)
- For PwD candidates: 10 years over and above category relaxation
- J&K Domicile /Ex-Servicemen/Victims of riots: As per Govt. of India directives
- Reservation/ Relaxation/ Concession for SC will be subject to submission of relevant Caste Certificate in the Govt. of India prescribed format issued by a competent authority, at the time of application and interview, if called for.
- Reservation/ Relaxation for OBC (NCL) will be subject to submission of a copy of the OBC (NCL) certificate along with NCL declaration in the format prescribed by the Govt. of India for “Appointment to Posts under Govt. of India” from a competent authority at the time of application and interview if called for
- Reservation/ Relaxation for ST/EWS – ST/EWS candidates can apply subject to meeting General standards of eligibility.
POWERGRID Recruitment 2022 Selection Process
- Interested & eligible candidates will have to appear for the Common Law Admission Test – CLAT 2022 applicable for admission to Post-Graduation Courses. Candidates obtaining the minimum qualifying marks shall only be eligible for the next stage of selection.
- The minimum marks required in CLAT-2022 (for admission to LLM/ PG Courses) shall be as per the Qualifying Marks set by CLAT Authorities. In absence of any Qualifying Marks set by CLAT, the following shall be treated as the Minimum.
- Qualifying Marks in CLAT for consideration of candidates for the next stages of the selection process in POWERGRID:

- The selection process will include the marks obtained by the eligible candidates in the CLAT 2022, followed by Behavioral Assessment, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview of the qualified candidates who are shortlisted category-wise for the GD and interview.
- Candidates shall have the option of appearing in the Group Discussion / Personal Interview in Hindi or English.
- Shortlisting of Eligible candidates for GD & Interview Qualified candidates shall be short-listed category-wise for Group Discussion & Personal Interview based on their actual marks in the CLAT 2022 for admission into LLM/ PG courses.
- Candidates shortlisted for the Group Discussion and Interview shall be required to submit the documents as may be mentioned in their individual communication to be sent through e-mail/ Candidate login.
- Qualifying Marks in GD & Interview GD will not have any qualifying marks. The interview will have qualifying marks for different categories as mentioned below.

Weightage to Different Parameters:
- For calculation of the final score of a candidate for empanelment, the weightages assigned to CLAT 2022 marks,

How to Apply?
- Candidates have to register themselves and appear for CLAT 2022 (applicable for admission to PG/ LLM Courses).
- Online Registration for CLAT 2022 shall close on 09th May 2022.
- For details on CLAT 2022, please visit https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/clat-2022.
- The application window for POWERGRID shall open from 27th May 2022 to 18th June 2022. Candidates have to register themselves online at the POWERGRID website with details of their CLAT 2022 Application No., CLAT 2022 Control Number, CLAT Roll Number, and other required information, which will be made available at CAREER>Job Opportunities section of powergrid.in.
- SC/ST/PwD/Ex-SM/Departmental candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
- Candidates are required to log in to their candidate login section and then deposit non-refundable application fees of Rs. 500/- through online mode only. On submission of application fees, the application process will be treated as complete. Candidates are not required to send any hard copy of the application to POWERGRID
- Incomplete applications/applications without application fees (if applicable) will be rejected.
- Candidates will be required to retain their CLAT 2022 Admit card/Hall Ticket for verification at the time of GD/ Interview / Joining in POWERGRID.
- Group discussions and Personal Interviews are likely to be conducted in the months of July/ August 2022
Application Fee
- The cost of the application is Rs.500/-. Online payment can be made via Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking or available e-Wallet.
Payment Mode
- After successful completion of registration, candidates shall receive an email with details of their Login ID, Password, and other information. The candidate is required to log in to the career page through the candidate login link available in the job opportunities section. For paying the fees through ONLINE MODE, a button shall be available on the login home page which will guide the candidate to the payment gateway.
- The candidate will be automatically directed to the payment gateway website and return back to the POWERGRID website automatically on completion of a transaction.
- Online payment can be made through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking or an available e-Wallet.
- If the transaction is successful, the online payment button will disappear and transaction confirmation will appear on the login home page.
