Eligibility Criteria for Punjab and Haryana High Court Recruitment 2020

Qualification: Graduation or equivalent thereto from a recognized University and

Proficiency in operation of computers (Word processing and spreadsheets).

Age Limit:

The minimum and maximum age limit as on 15th January 2020 for the applicants shall be 18 years and 30 years respectively for all categories. आवेदकों के लिए 15 जनवरी 2020 तक न्यूनतम और अधिकतम आयु सीमा सभी श्रेणियों के लिए क्रमशः 18 वर्ष और 30 वर्ष होगी। However, the age relaxation for SC/ST/BC, Physically Handicapped, Ex-Servicemen and Government Employee Categories is as under – हालांकि, अनुसूचित जाति / अनुसूचित जनजाति / बीसी, शारीरिक रूप से विकलांग, भूतपूर्व सैनिक और सरकारी कर्मचारी श्रेणियों के लिए आयु में छूट निम्नानुसार है:

The upper age limit is relaxable in following conditions:

• SC/ST/BC: 3 years
• Physically Handicapped: 10 years over and above the prescribed upper age limit.
• Ex servicemen: By number of years equal to his defence service plus 3 years.

Reservation

• Benefit of reservation against SC/ST/BC and fee relaxation in this recruitment shall be available only to those who have got a SC/ST/BC certificate issued by the States of Punjab, Haryana and UT Chandigarh and are also domicile / permanent residents of these States/ UT Chandigarh. All SC/ST/BC category applicants of other areas shall be treated in General Category and shall fill their category as “General”. एससी / एसटी / बीसी के खिलाफ आरक्षण का लाभ और इस भर्ती में शुल्क में छूट केवल उन्हीं को मिलेगी जिन्हें पंजाब, हरियाणा और यूटी चंडीगढ़ राज्यों द्वारा जारी एससी / एसटी / बीसी प्रमाण पत्र मिला हो और वे अधिवास / स्थायी निवासी भी हों ये राज्य / केन्द्र शासित प्रदेश चंडीगढ़। अन्य क्षेत्रों के सभी एससी / एसटी / बीसी श्रेणी के आवेदकों को सामान्य श्रेणी में माना जाएगा और उनकी श्रेणी को “सामान्य” के रूप में भरना होगा।

Payment Mode

Selection Criteria for Punjab & Haryana High Court Recruitment 2020

Selection will be made on the following basis

• Applicant shall be required to take down dictation at a speed of 80 w.p.m in English shorthand
• Same content is to be transcribed on computer at the speed of 20 w.p.m
• No applicant shall be considered pass if he/she commits more than 6% mistakes.
• Spreadsheet test will be of 10 marks and of 10 minutes duration.
