SIDBI Assistant Manager Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality / Citizenship
- A candidate must be either
- a citizen of India or
- a subject of Nepal or
- a subject of Bhutan or
- a Tibetan refugee (who came over to India before 1st January1962) with the intention of permanently settling in India; or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malwi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
- Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) or (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination / interview conducted by SIDBI but on final selection, the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificates have been issued to him / her by the Government of India.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelors’ Degree in Law, OR Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering (Preferably Civil / Electrical / Mechanical) OR Master’s Degree in any discipline (Preferably from Commerce/Economics/Management subject) from an institute / University recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC) / Central Government OR
- CA / CS / CWA / CFA
- OR
- PhD from Institutions recognized by GOI/UGC.
- Candidate must have scored minimum 60% marks or first class (55% or Second class, in case of SC/ST), in aggregate in any of the above-indicated qualifications.
Age Limit
- Candidates do not exceeding Not below 21 years and not exceeding 28 years. (Candidates born not earlier than 05.03.1994 and not later than 04.03.2001 [both days including] are only eligible to apply).
Relaxation in Upper Age
- Relaxation in upper age limit would be available as under: –

How to Apply?
- Step 1: Candidates to go to the SIDBI website sidbi.in – click on the option “APPLY ONLINE” which will open a new screen.
- Step 2: To register application, choose the tab, “Click here for New Registration” and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen.
- Step 3: In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he / she can save the data already entered by choosing “SAVE AND NEXT” tab. Prior to submission of the online application candidates are advised to use the “SAVE AND NEXT”
- Step 4: Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the “COMPLETE REGISTRATION” BUTTON.
- Step 5: Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the ‘Validate your details’ and ‘Save & Next’ button.
- Step 6: Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature detailed under point “C”.
- Step 7: Candidates can proceed to fill other details of the Application Form, Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before “COMPLETE REGISTRATION”.
- Step 8: Click on ‘Payment’ Tab and proceed for payment. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay / Visa / Master Card / Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets by providing information as asked on the screen.
- Step 9: Click on ‘Submit ‘ button. Candidates are required to take a printout of the e -Receipt and online Application Form.

SIDBI Grade A Recruitment 2022 Selection Process
- The selection process for the post would be by way of an online examination comprising of objective test as well as descriptive test followed by Personal Interview.
- Candidates who qualify based on the minimum cut -off marks decided by SIDBI, would be called for interview. The pattern of written examination will be as under
SIDBI Grade A Exam Pattern
- The SIDBI Grade-A Exam consists of an Online Computer Based Test and a Descriptive Test. The CBT consists of 160 questions with a duration of 02 hours. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer marked in the online written exam of SEBI Grade A 2022. The Descriptive Test contains 03 descriptive-type questions having a total of 50 marks to be completed in 60 minutes. The descriptive test takes place on the same day after the completion of the CBT exam. Candidates have to type their answers in the descriptive test for SIDBI Assistant Manager Posts.
