Eligibility for SSB Recruitment 2020
Qualification Details
- Applications are invited in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-A copy enclosed) from eligible applicants to fill up the post of Inspector (Veterinary), Sub Inspector (Veterinary) & Inspector (Junior Hindi Translator) Group ‘B’ post in Sashastra Seema Bal by Deputation / re-employment, as per eligibility criteria given below:-
Officers of the Central Govt. or State Govt. or Union Territory Police Organisations
- holding analogous posts on regular basis; or
- persons holding the rank of Assistant Sub-inspector (Veterinary) or equivalent post who have rendered not less than six years regular service in particular level in the pay matrix or persons eligible for appointment to such posts.
- Note-I: The Departmental omcers in the feeder cate- gory who are in the direct line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment by deputation, similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consid- eration for appointment by promotion
- Note-2: The period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation or department shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
- Note-3: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation including short-term contract shall be not exceeding fifty-two years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
Age Limit
- The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 52 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
Selection Procedure
- The selection of candidates as to Commandant, SI and Inspector posts through SSB Recruitment 2020 will be done through Shortlisting, Test/Interview and Document Verification.
SSB Salary/Pay Scale
- Applicants selected to Commandant, SI and Inspector posts through SSB Recruitment 2020 will be paid emolument in the range of Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 215,000 per month as per the designation.

- Applications of Willing and eligible officers may please be forwarded in the prescribed format (Annexure-A) in duplicate to the Commandant (Paper-II), Directorate General, Sashastra Seema Bal, East Block-V, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066 within 60 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in the Employment News’.
- Incomplete applications as well as application received after closing date will be entertained, officers, who are selected or the above post be to withdraw their name selection.
- The Competent Authority reserves the right any amendment ‘enhancement of vacancies cancellation of the advertisement whole or part without assigning any reason during the of deputation. the deputation be governed by SSB Act & Rules and other instructions issued from time to time by SSE which will have to be exercised by he selected applicant.
