Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Company Prosecutor, Specialist and Other Recruitment 2019
Citizenship
- A Candidate must be either:
- (a) a citizen of India, or
- (b) a subject of Nepal, or
- (c) a subject of Bhutan, or
- (d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- (e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India
Age Limits

Minimum Essential Qualifications
- All applicants must fulfill the essential requirements of the post and other conditions stipulated in the advertisement. They are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess at least the essential qualifications laid down for various posts. No inquiry asking for advice as to eligibility will be entertained.
- Company Prosecutor: Degree in Law from a recognized University/Institution. Knowledge of Commercial Law. Experience in conducting Company Law cases. Government Diploma in Company Secretaries
- Age Limit: Maximum 30 years
- Prosecutor: Graduate in any discipline plus a bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized University or Institute OR Integrated graduate in Law (Five years duration) from a recognized University or Institute
- Age Limit: Maximum 30 years
- Junior Scientific Officer (Toxicology): PG Degree with Master’s in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Pharmacology/Pharmacy/Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized university or equivalent
- Age Limit: Maximum 30 years
- Director (Staff Training/Productivity): (i) Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Production/Industrial Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent OR (ii) Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Chemical or Production or Industrial Engineering followed by Post-graduate Diploma in Production Engineering or Industrial Engineering of a recognized institute/University

- Specialist Grade III (Obstetrics and Gynaecology): Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty mentioned in Section A or Section B in Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. M. D. (Obstetrics & Gynaecology)/M.S. (Obstetrics & Gynaecology)/Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics

Selection Process for UPSC Company Prosecutor, Specialist and Other Recruitment 2019
- The selection of candidates for various posts through UPSC Notification 2019 will be done through a Written Examination and Personal Interview
Pay Scale
- Candidates selected for various posts through UPSC Notification 2019 will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 15,600 to Rs. 39,100 per month (Specialist Grade III posts) and different pay levels for other posts.
Application Fee
- Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs.25/- only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card
- No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates of any community. No “fee exemption” is available to OBC male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee
- Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained
Application Procedure for UPSC Company Prosecutor, Specialist and Other Recruitment 2019
- Candidates must apply online through the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in.
- Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected
- Candidates must upload the following documents/certificates relating to educational qualification, Date of Birth, Experience (preferably in prescribed format), Desirable Qualification(s) or any other information, as claimed in the online application, in a single pdf file in such a way that the file size does not exceed 2 MB and is legible when a printout is taken. For that purpose, the applicant may scan the following documents/certificates in 200 dpi greyscale. Documents like Pay Slip, Resume, Appointment Letter, Relieving Letter, Un-signed Experience Certificate, etc. must not be uploaded in the Document Upload Module:
- a) Matriculation/10th Standard or equivalent certificate indicating the date of birth, or mark sheet of Matriculation/10th Standard or equivalent issued by Central/State Board indicating Date of Birth in support of the claim of age. Where the date of birth is not available in certificate/mark sheets, issued by concerned Educational Boards, School leaving certificate indicating Date of Birth (in case of Tamil Nadu& Kerala)
- b) Degree/Diploma certificate as proof of educational qualification claimed. In the absence of Degree/Diploma certificate, provisional certificate along with mark sheets pertaining to all the academic years
- c) Order/ letter in respect of equivalent Educational Qualifications claimed, indicating the Authority (with number and date) under which it has been so treated, in respect of equivalent clause in Essential Qualifications, if a candidate is claiming a particular qualification as equivalent qualification as per the requirement of advertisement.
