West Central Railway Recruitment 2021 – West Central Railway has invited applications for the West Central Railway Teacher Recruitment 2021. The Post for which application are sought are for Teachers Recruitment for Post Graduate Teachers (PGT), Primary Teachers (PRT) and Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT).
Applications are invited from candidates fulfilling the educational qualifications and other conditions to fill-up the vacancies of teaching staff during the Academic session 2021-22.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- The candidate should be between the age of 18 and 65 years (as per KVS rules) as on date of interview and selected candidate shall not be eligible to continue their contract services beyond 65 years
Educational Qualification
Primary Teachers (PRT)
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El. Ed.) OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-years Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) /B.Ed. AND
- Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), to be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English media
Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT)
- Graduation (in the teaching subject) and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Graduation (in the teaching subject) with at least 50% marks and one year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.) OR Graduation (in the teaching subject) with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed.) OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years B.A./B.Sc. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. OR Graduation (in the teaching subject) with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education) AND
- Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), to be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. AND
- Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English media.

Diploma/Degree Course in Teacher Education
- A Diploma/Degree course in teacher education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered. However, in case of Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.Ed. (Special Education), a course recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (ROI) only shall be considered.
Post Graduate Teachers (PGT)
- Two years’ Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc Course of ‘Regional college of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject; Or
- Master Degree from recognised University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects:
- PGT (Hindi) – Hindi or Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects at Graduate level.
- (ii)PGT (Physics) – Physics / Electronics/Applied Physics/ Nuclear Physics.
- PGT (Chemistry) – Chemistry/ Bio.Chem
- PGT(Biology) – Botany/Zoology/ Life Sciences/Bio Sciences/ Genetics/ Micro Biology/ Bio Technology/Molecular Bio/Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level.
- PGT (History) – History
- PGT (Sociology) – Sociology and B. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognised university
- Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English media
- Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications
- Note for all posts: The candidates should have good command on English and Hindi language. Candidates having knowledge of computer applications and additional qualifications in activities such as Music, Yoga, Physical Educations, counseling etc. shall be given preference.

- Eligible candidates will be called for personal interview on short notice and the list of candidates with date of interview will also be published on the official website.

- Eligible candidates will be shortlisted and called for personal interview on short notice and the list of candidates with date of interview will also be published in website www.wcr.indianrailways.gov.in. Preference will be given to those who possessing qualification higher than those prescribed for the post/ teaching experience from Kendriya Vidhyalaya, Government Schools and other reputed Schools.
