Eligibility for Karnataka Bank Clerk Recruitment 2022
Educational Qualification
- Graduates in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks (First Class)*/equivalent grade from any UGC recognized university. Candidates should be graduates as of 01-05-2022. Those who are awaiting the results of the degree exam /pursuing a degree shall not be eligible to apply.
- Candidates should be able to speak any one of the vernacular/state languages along with Hindi & English and also be computer literate.
- Instead of marks, if a Grade/CGPA is awarded, only candidates securing a CGPA/Grade equivalent to 60% or more may apply. Rounding off to the nearest integer is not allowed
Age Limit
- Maximum 26 years as of 01-05-2022 [Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-05-1996]. The age limit will be relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

How to Apply?
- Candidates will have to visit the Bank’s website (karnatakabank.com) under the heading “DOWNLOAD EXAMINATION CALL LETTER FOR ONLINE EXAMINATION” for downloading examination call letters for the online test tentatively scheduled in the month of June 2022.
- Intimation for downloading the examination call letters will also be sent through email/SMS. Once the candidate clicks the relevant link, he/she can access the window for an examination called letter download.
- The candidate is required to use (i) Registration Number/Roll Number, and (ii) Password/Date of Birth for downloading the examination call letter. Candidate needs to affix a recent recognizable photograph on the examination call letter preferably the same as provided during registration and appear at the examination center with (i) Examination Call Letter (ii) Photo Identity Proof as stipulated in the examination call letter and photocopy of the same Photo Identity Proof as brought in original.
- Candidates can apply online only from 10th May 2022 to 21st May 2022 and no other mode of application will be accepted.
Important Points to be Noted before Registration
- Before applying online, candidates should-
- Scan there:
- Photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm)
- Signature (with black ink)
- Left Thumb Impression (on white paper with black or blue ink)
- A handwritten declaration (on a white paper with black ink) (text given below)
- (i) Ensuring that all these scanned documents adhere to the required specifications as given in this notification/advertisement.
- (ii) Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS will NOT be accepted.
- (iii) The left thumb impression should be properly scanned and not smudged (If a candidate is not having a left thumb, he/she may use his/ her right thumb for applying).
- (iv) The text for the handwritten declaration is as follows:
- “I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
- (v) The above-mentioned handwritten declaration has to be in the candidate’s handwriting and in English only. If it is written and uploaded by anybody else or in any other language, the application will be considered invalid. (In the case of Visually Impaired candidates who cannot write may get the text of the declaration typed and put their left-hand thumb impression below the typed declaration and upload the document as per specifications).
- (vi) Keep the necessary details/documents ready to make Online Payment of the requisite application fee/ intimation charges.
- (vii) Have a valid personal email ID and mobile no., which should be kept active till the completion of this Recruitment Process. Bank may send intimation to download call letters for the Examination etc. through the registered e-mail ID. In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID and mobile no. before applying on-line and must maintain that email account and mobile number.

- Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of six months and on satisfactory completion of the probationary period, will be confirmed, subject to rules and regulations of the Bank.
- The following is the online examination test structure (with separately timed tests)

- Questions will be in English only. Each question will have 5 alternatives (options); a ¼th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Payment of Application Fees (Through Online Mode)
- The application form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions.
- The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets, etc.
- After submitting your payment information in the online application form, PLEASE WAIT FOR THE INTIMATION FROM THE SERVER. DO NOT PRESS BACK OR REFRESH BUTTON IN ORDER TO AVOID DOUBLE CHARGE.
- On successful completion of the transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated
- Non-generation of ‘E-Receipt’ indicates PAYMENT FAILURE. On failure of payment, Candidates are advised to log in again using their Provisional Registration Number and Password and repeat the process of payment.
- Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-Receipt and online Application Form containing fee details. Please note that if the same cannot be generated, the online transactions may not have been successful.
For Credit Card Users
- All charges are listed in Indian Rupee. If you use a non-Indian credit card, your bank will convert to Indian Rupees based on the prevailing exchange rates.
- To ensure the security of your data, please close the browser window once your transaction is completed. There is a facility to print the application form containing fee details after payment of fees.
Appointment & Emoluments
- Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of six months and on satisfactory completion of the probationary period, will be confirmed, subject to rules and regulations of the Bank.
- Karnataka Bank Clerk Salary will be as per All India Level Settlements (Current CTC will be approximate Rs.43,000/- per month.)
