TNUSRB SI Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree obtained from an Institution / University recognized by the University Grants Commission / Government in the 10+2+3/4/5 pattern or 10+3+2/3 pattern in the case of Diploma courses. However, candidates who have obtained Bachelor’s degrees through Open Universities without going through the above pattern will not be eligible.
Age Limit
- The applicants should have attained the age of 20 years and should not be aged above 30 years as of 01.07.2022 (should have been born on or after01.07.1992 and on or before 01.07.2002)

TNUSRB SI Recruitment 2022 Selection Process
- The Selection Process for Tamil Nadu SI consists of Written Exam followed by a Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Endurance Test (PET), and Viva Voce.

TNUSRB SI Written Exam
- The written exam consists of 2 parts. Part I is Tamil Language Eligibility Test and Part 2 is the Main Written examination.
- Tamil Language Eligibility Test: It will be objective type in nature. It will consist of 100 questions for 100 marks and the duration of the examination will be 100 minutes (1 Hr 40 mins.). Candidates should have to get a minimum of 40% to qualify in the written exam.
- Main Written Exam: Main Written examination will consist of General Knowledge, Logical Analysis, Numerical Analysis, Psychology Test, Communication Skills, and Information Handling Ability. Written examination total marks are 70. Each question carries a ½ mark. Duration 2 ½ Hrs. The candidates should get a minimum of 25 marks to qualify for the written examination.

TNUSRB SI Pay Scale/ Salary Details
- According to the previous SI notification, the selected candidate for the post of SI in Tamil Nadu will get paid between Rs. 36900 to Rs. 116600 PM.
Application Fee
- According to the previous SI notification, General candidates are required to pay Rs. 500 as an application fee
- If Police Department candidates appear for both Open and departmental Quotas then they have to pay Rs. 1000 as an application fee.
